Older, Wiser, but still fat...

Imma hot babe...do I count? I'm not a cord groupie though, pretty much just here for the cabbie.

Today, no lift, giving those muskels a rest.

Cardio - 62 minutes of mountain biking. It was awesome. No sounds but me and nature, not another human animal in sight.

Hey there,
I just dropped by to say Hello! And good luck with the weight loss journey!! :) Slowly but surely, we'll all reach our goals!! Way to go with ure workout! Keep it up!!
Take caree
Jana

ah i need to run for an hour. that's it i will do a 10k. which should take me an hour. which i will be happy with. sounds like everything is going relatively well for you, as you even have babes in your thread now lol.

Cardio -30 minutes s/s on spinning bike, ~ 95 rpm cadence

Incline press - 3x5x115
decline press - 3x5x155
cable pushdowns - 2x10x130 wanted to do skullcrushers, but just didn't feel like competing for bench time in the fitness center with half the football team. Took the easy out.
rack pulls - 3x5x315
seated leg press 3x5x220

3 sets, plank for 45 seconds followed by holding a cobra for 45 seconds then rest and repeat.

Jana, Hello there and welcome to my world! Slow is the operative word for my journey, but it is happening.

Clarence, yes, it would appear that there are indeed babes in here! Everything else is going well (right now) too, so I'd like to just keep the train rolling...

loosing weight slow is a good idea, beacuse it means you are eating enough calories (which is good) and exersizing still to have a calorie defecit, I wish I had that kind of patience!! But I'm not a big eater, unless I'm eating junk (which I dont anymore lol!! sworn of the stuff I got fat out of....pizzas and chocolate bars!)...I cant eat them anyway since I'm giving 'veganism' a go! and they have cheese or milk products in em' which I cant eat! Anywooos sorry I'm boring you with my ramble!

I should start biking soon its such good exersize, but I cant ride a bike lol, so I joined spin classes they are good fun! But it kills me! Like I get more tired of a class of spin than I get from an hour of high intensity dance (which is harder for most ppl!)...I dont get tired from jumping around or running, than I do when I'm biking, but well I'm using resistance that might be it lol! I'm so stupid sometimes!! Anyways I hope you are having a good weekend !!! eat wellll!! goodluck!

hey! Ive been here for awhile retard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banghead::dupe:

glad to see you seem to be doing well! thanks for your PM...... i just ignore the BS over there and focus on the good things i can take away...... sometimes its just too judgemental there tho!

Hey you Melissa, I meant no offense....!!! And you are in fact a hot babe! :biggrinjester:

Had a mixed weekend. Saturday went to go work out. Walking around the corner in the gym parking lot and slipped (raining pretty hard and such). My left ankle, (the one that has been giving me fits ever since May, rolled again. That in itself was not all that bad, but when I went down, I instinctively grabbed for the wrought iron railing next to me. My arm went right between the rungs, my body kept going...

I didn't break anything, other than a shitload of blood vessels. My left arm is bruised from the inside of my forearm just in front of my elbow, all the way to just shy of my wrist. On the back side, my watch got torn off and my wrist is bruised from behind the watch across the back of my hand to the knuckles on my little and ring fingers. Ouch.

I didn't get my workout on Saturday, needless to say. Ice and Ibuprofen instead. Doing better today, went mountain biking for an hour and a half and it only bothered my a little. Since I missed my lighter pull workout, I'll do a light pull tonight and see if it can handle it. Any pain and I cut it short.

On the plus side, my Dad was down and we took his little hot rod down to the Ty-rods gathering near here. What a collection of amazing toys! This lady Rebecca shoots all the cars and posts them on her site. This link is to the show I went to.

My Dad's car is on index page 22, pic #478 or here in other words:

Dash panel shot here:

If you are into cars, there are 1486 pics in all that she took... Cord, I know you like....

Sorry to hear bout the fall, hope your feeling better!! Glad it wasn't any worse than some bruising, you got pretty lucky on that one by the sounds of it.

Those are some sweet cars! I've always wondered, can you get a seat belt ticket in a classic car that wasn't even made with seat belts in it? hmmm

It may be a stupid question but I've always wondered :)

You know? I'm not sure, but it would be my guess, that you probably wouldn't. Most cops are actually pretty friendly when they are dealing with hot rodders who actually build their own cars and such. My Dad's has just lap belts in it, and I'm sure he added them in just to avoid issues.

ooh man sorry about the slip, and sorry about not being able to workout. I know how it feels to miss a day not by choice. glad you are back on your feet though. can't let non-crippling injuries stop us!

OMG, i'm so sorry about your little accident! But its great that you are doing well now :) Hope you've been eating well and soooon headed to gym (be carefull around parking lot this time around :p hehe).

Had a nice trip see ya next fall?!?!?!?! :hurray:

hehehe just kidddddding!:cheers2:

Glad you are ok buddy!!! That sounds like quite a nasty bruise you got there!!! man oh day!!!!!

now get back on your bike!!!!!!!!!!:toetap05::toetap05:
:biggrinjester: hehehe

Cardio roughly an hour of "urban mountain biking", bouncing my bike off curbs and generally acting like a moro... err...bike messenger around town. Who knew cyclists could practice anti social behavior?

Gym
flat bench 1x5@155, 1x5@175, 1x5@195, 1x5@205, 3 reps at 215:hurray:
skull crushers 2x10@90
military bb press 2x10@70
pallof presses 2x10@60 (L&R)
Squats 3x5@125, these were easier today. One more session at this weight and I'm bumping by 10#

Arm did not give me any trouble, in fact, I felt strong all around and was able to outdo my last bench performance.

Food has been good. Actually it has been good for a couple of weeks solid with the exception of my dad being down this weekend. My wife used it as an excuse to make stuffed shells (which I love), and while we were at the car show, I had very few good choices and ended up with some phenomenal BBQ, but it was all pretty fatty stuff. Didn't really do anything negative though. Had a little bump for a day or so, and it looks like I'm back down to level, so at least it wasn't a gain that stayed.

Meh, my weight didn't change this week. I Guess I'll take that to mean that the missed workout from the fall on Saturday and the stuffed shells and such from my dad's visit didn't kill me this week. I'll have to leave it there... This weekend should be an easy one to control though so next week should not be a problem.

Slightly disappointed that my best friends ad to cancel their trip with us to Jamaica. They are the ones who convinced us to go after they went to Hedo last year. Guess will have to go and make friends with all the rest of the nekkid peeps there on vacation...

OMG. Hedo is crazy. My father-in-law showed me some pics when he went there for vacation. Hope you have fun. :reddevil:

I'm not sure those will be pictures I'm ever going to show anyone especially if I'm related to them... My kids still don't know anything about some of our extracurricular activities and they are adults now. I'd still prefer to keep it that way. We told them we were going to Sandals... I don't think they'd believe us if we told them where we were really going anyway.
