Matt, as always, you have the right thing to say, you have been there and done that with weight loss so I genuflect in your presence...
The battle goes much better with some sun for once , though doesn't it?
Melissa, thanks for coming by

I've been busy and not posting as much as I'd really like to, but its all good.
Today the sun came out... everything else was good after that...
Amazing how a sunny day (for once), can change your attitude!
My wife was running around this afternoon, and I had to go in 3 hours early to work today, so I had a limited amount of time to do stuff this afternoon. Headed to the gym at Fitchburg State with a duffel bag packed. Wore my workout clothes, had a set of cycling clothes in the bag and a change of clean work clothes for afterwards. Finished my weights, changed over to the cycling clothes and headed to the Nashua River Rail Trail (happens to be about halfway between work and home).
Rode the full round trip, 25 miles in one hour 35 minutes. My wife called me while I was between venues and asked why I wasn't coming back home to switch over to my motorcycle. She was shocked that I wouldn't take the Honda to work on a night like this. My explanation was simple... I had enough time to make the choice between riding a good distance and heading to work right after to shower, change and go to work, or I could have cut down the mileage and gone home to take the motorcycle. My choice was the bicycle. It has been raining solidly since Sunday, my cardio has, in a word, sucked... I dislike stationary machines, so I only get short workouts on them. I needed a real session to get my blood pumping.
As much as it killed me to leave the Honda at home... the Cannondale was the better choice...
