Greetings everyone! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Michelle, I am 17 years old and am a senior at my high school. I posted here about a couple of weeks ago with the title "Michelles Journey To A New World". Well, since starting that journal, I've done very poorly on my eating (eating junk, binging) so I want this journal to be a fresh start for me. I tend to stop posting in my journals when I start eating poorly again and I know thats one thing that NEEDS to stop. This time, no matter how bad of an eating day I've had, I'm going to post it on here so I am held accountable. Last time I weighed (a couple of weeks ago) I weighed 158 pounds..I'm scared to weigh myself now though lol. I'm either going to weigh in again either next Sunday or the Sunday after that, depending if I'm brave enough to face the scale or not lol. I've done really good on my eating the last couple of days, but starting today I'm going to post everything I eat, my exercise, and my moods. This time I AM going to succeed in getting rid of this unwanted weight, I'm so tired of not liking who I see in the mirror everyday and I am sick and tired of loving food more than I love myself. Well here goes :)

Brunch: Breakfast buritto w/ a low carb, whole wheat tortilla (80 cals) eggs, ham, salsa (120 cals?) a mini orange (20 cals?) Total=220 cals

Snack: 1 apple (80 cals) 1 tablespoon of beanut butter (80 cals) Total=160 cals

Dinner: Leftover beans and rice, 1 whole wheat tortilla, shrimp and veggies Total=500 cals?

Dessert: 1 fat free mochachino pudding cup Total=60 cals

Grand Total=940 cals

I feel very proud of myself today :)

Day 2, December 17th

Ok so today went pretty good. I didn't get in any formal exercise today but I still did alot of activity. I'm in P.E. first period and we did a fast pace walk around the school (inside) doing several laps up a bunch of stairs and we did some crunches, sit ups, bear crawls (which I HATE) and frog jumps (which I hate also lol) and in second period I'm in concert choir and we went caroling around the school (it's a tradition my school does this every year) and we walked around a bunch and I had a ton of fun singing for everybody, singing is one of my biggest passions. My eating has been on track today as well. I gotta go to a rehersal tonight for our holiday concert tomorrow night (I'm in select and concert choir) so I'm really exited!! I hope everyone is having an awesome day :)

Breakfast: Bowl of Life cereal w/ blueberries, 1 cup of green tea w/ splenda (180 cals?)

Lunch: 1 turkey sandwhich on whole wheat bread w/ white meat turkey, mustard, onions, lettuce, and tomatos (223 cals)

Dinner: Going to be a hamburger on an onion bun w/ onions, tomatos, lettuce, and mustard, and some baked seasoned fries w/ some ketchup (500 cals?)

Dessert: Probably going to have a fat free banana chocolate pudding cup (60 cals) I'm officially addicted to those pudding cups, they taste so sinfully good and there only 60 cals per cup!

Grand Total: 963 cals

Dang my calories have been awfully low these past couple of days, I feel great with how I'm eating now but I don't want to go into starvation mode either...What to do what to do lol

Those calories seem a little off, are you using a calorie counting website?

To increase your calories maybe add a few snacks in? Or amp up your breakfast?

starvation mode is more myth than anything else, but for long term success you really do want to keep your calories al ittle higher - when they're that low -you have no wiggle room at all...

But I agree with austin, I'd check your accuracy of calories and make sure you are taking in what you think you are...
