So " team " mate... for the next 2 weeks we are going to be angels with our eating and exercising!....GOOOO TEAM......what should we call ourselves?

i'm only using my diary now to write down pounds and inches so i have a place to keep track.

on another site i'm also in a comptetition and my august 29th measurements were:

bust - 36 inch.
waist - 32 inch.
hips - 39 inch.
left thigh - 21.5
right thigh - 22 inch

weight was 138


today i took measuremnts for heck of it;
bust - didnt measure cuz still wearing my 36 bras
waist - 29.5 inch - lost 2.5
hips - 37.5 inch - lost 1.5 (these are hard to lose!)
left thigh - 20 inch - lost 1.5
right thigh - 21 inch - lost 1

weight - 132

crap now i wish i had taken measuremnts in other places, probbly lost more than 6.5 inches. only 6 pounds :(

Oh hush - your diary is exciting as everyone elses lol!!! =) I am SO ecited you are on Atkins now too!! I just started as well. Are you staying right at 20 or under or over?? And no, I dont have the strips yet ... soon tho!!!
 
hehe actually i was doing it wrong the first 3 days and was under 10mg (like maybe 4 or 5 a day, whoa!) but was told on the lowcarbeating forum that i was supposed to be at 20! no wonder i feel like crap!

i'm so scared of screwing up i'm pretty sure i'm still way below 20. maybe like 12 or 13? and your not supposed to drink coffee or have splenda but i am! so i guess its not really a true induction. oh well. i usually have better luck doing things "my way" anyway. LOL.
 
For some reason I have a harder time ... I am right around 20 everyday but I'm trying to lower it to about 15 ... I don't want to screw up ... I want this to be it!!
What do you eat normally? Like what does a normal day look like for you?

thanx cap! lets see skinny, i have been eating cheese (tiny pieces), steak, those flavored tuna pouches that look like catfood lol, hamburger (no bun of course!) low carb diet hot chocolate, canned chicken, eggs, sausage, and bacon. but only 1 day had bacon because it has nitrates in it and your really not supposed to have it the first 2 weeks.

one day, i did cave a little (yes a temporary loss of willpower!) i licked the spoon when i made garlic flavored mashed potatoes for the family!

and one night when i woke up at 3am (musta been sleepwalking haha) i ate a chocolate chip cookie!

i think i need more variety in my diet but i cant buy that much special food just for me becasue i need money for groceries for the kids. i'm actually surprised my cravings for carbs isnt a lot worse than it is! plus i cant believe i've been pretty much successful at fighting the urges when they do happen except for those 2 slipups i mentioned. :eek:
 
Oooh ok, well this is helpful :) Ok, i'm gonna plan out my tomorrows meals right now so I can stick to it ... I had bacon 2 days in a row!! Oops ... I'll freeze it for 2 weeks hehe* I totally forgot about tuna ... ooh you little genious :)
hahahah i laughed SO hard when I read you licked the spoon and ate the cookie at 3 a.m. lol* ooh to funny .. its ok, you've been really good!!! Its easy to slip uo but youve had dedication! Go you! I looked for the keto strips but cant find them?! where would they be by? I looked by the diet/vitamins/diabetic secion in walmart
 
you couldnt find them? i will have to go look tomorow, maybe they were just sold out? as far as i know they should have been in the section you checked. ask the pharmacist or try rite aid or walgreens or something. i think a box of 50 is like 12 bucks.
 
I don't know anything about the Atkins thing, but I have been in WW since January. Those tuna pouches are my main thing, because they are easy to grab for lunch. I'm only 19 and can't cook too well ( if it isn't microwaveable, I don't eat it) Ha. But you two are giving me some good ideas. Keep the menus coming!!! THanks
 
sticking my husbands lard ass stats in here for future reference (he REFUSES to do a thing about his diet and exercise!) 5'11", 200 lbs, BMI=27.9, waist=43 inches :eek:
 
first i want u to know i didnt call him lard ass cuz i was makin fun of a fat person (i used to be one myself!) but mainly because i hate him. he's just a lazy bum! goes to work and comes home and thats IT!
