Off Season

ah i see

and now an even bigger feat, you have conquered the endeavor of replying within a quote I see (numerous times), this is big

I know! It's awesome. It's taken me forever to figure it out. I feel like the world has come alive, the skies are much bluer, and the birds sing much nicer.

i've been doing pushing and pulling stuff recently, but i'll do some upper/lower soon and do some zerchers for sure, well, probably, if I remember that is

Pusing and pulling is good. I have training ADD so I change quite a bit. But I've always enjoyed whole body pulling, upper pushing, full body type of split.

It's prob been a week or so since I stepped into the gym due to weather. I had a short amount of time unfortunately. Soooo....I tried to make the best of my time.

A) bench press:135X12, 155X8, 185X5, 225X5, 245X5, 265X5, 275X5
...at this point was sidetracked by some guy asking me about squat techniques. Claims he had screwed himself up with back squats. So I looked at his technique-knees coming inward, toes faced inward, heels rising up, semi-good morninging it up, bar riding on his neck rather than traps. We spent some time working with just the bar and getting him off the smith machine. Fast forward 20 minutes and he was looking pretty good working with a box squat style. Soooo...I just moved onto the next movement.

B) inc db bench press:70sX18, 70sX12

C1)hammer strength iso row:135 a sideX12X2, 90X15
C2)face pulls:170X10X2, 120X18

D3)db upright row drop setsX5 dropsX3 sets

E)4 sets various ab movements:8-20 reps

That was really good of you, Evo. It's amazing how some people with some technique work can actually significantly up weight on many exercises.

Yeah. He genuinely wanted help. After the squat help, he started picking my brain about different things that he'd read in Men's Health and whatnot. I asked him where he learned to squat and he said he learned it from a personal trainer at another gym.
