The Center for Disease Control and Prevention makes a number of observations :-
- Genetics is a risk factor for obesity but genetic predisposition is not health destiny
- You can’t change your genes, but you can change your behavior (cutting down on certain foods, taking smaller portions, and embarking on a regimen of regular exercise.)
