NRoL & Chinups

So starting the New Rules of Lifting break in workout, which calls for Lat Pulls, which I have always hated. Recently, I have been doing assisted chin ups and dropping the assisted weight by 20lbs or so per workout. So just wanted thoughts on subbing chin ups for lat pulls.

I must admit, I am going to feel weird today doing lifts that I can't handle doing too much weight on, but look like I should be able to handle much more ie. squats and deadlifts later on. A bit of a shot to the 'ol ego.

page 149 of NROL tells you about interchanging pullups for lat pulls. I'd tell you what it says but I only remember what page it's on for some reason.

And a great rule it is. Just have to get around the years of errored programming of myself. This book really has changed my outlook on a lot of things as far as weights go.
