Now 13St 7, Want To Be 12St 5!

Hey everyone, been a while since ive been on here!

Last time i was on here i was just under 16 stone in weight, i dropped to about 13.9stone. I stopped for a while but wanting to loose the rest!. ive lost about 2 lbs in the past week or so, and have decided to go for the other 2stone +

Ive recently started the gym again, going 5 - 6 days a week.

I have been doing weight training, but think i should maybe cut down on the weight training and go for cardio.

From tomorrow i will be doing cardio every day with only a little bit weight training at the end of my session.

what do you think? if i cardio train with a bit of weight training will i acheive my goal?

also what would you recoment for a diet?
 
also i forgot to add, i have quite a broad body, and my arms are quite muscley but not very, so this may add to my weight
 
Cardio training is generally the way to go. Chillen seems to be the weight loss master on this forum. Check out his 'Chillout Log' in the journal section. I couldn't tell you anything he hasn't already said :)

You will achieve your best results if you lift weights before doing cardio, in my opinion. And, perhaps, you should do moderate weight training rather than "a little". The muscle built from the weight training brings many benefits that are present all the time, burning calories at rest and giving you a nice physique.

Do your best not to let the scale "take over". You can trade a few of your extra pounds for some muscle and look awesome!

yeah, i dont really care what my weight is, i only really care about how i look, but i think if i get to about 12 Stone 5ish, i will look the way i want, but maybe not, im not really that fat, i have a bit weight on my face and stomach, thats it really, basically a pot belly lol
 
definitely keep up with the weight training if you wanna spend less time on cardio just up the intensity that way youll burn more calories with less time but I would still opt for cardio everyday if i were trying to lose weight. Oh also I just started doin my lifting before cardio and noticed a big difference so I would do that also I wish someone had told me that a long time ago.
