Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy

Okay, I guess I don't have to date this.


12:05 AM on Day 1. So far, so good, no giving into temptation.

Currently for Each day at;
Walk around the lake (~5.3 KMs) (Currently Jog the uphills, 8 in total) (Time ~52 minutes)

11 Sets of the stairs (96 Stairs) (6 at a jog pace, 5 at a walk) (Time ~ 15 minutes)


By Thursday October 26th, I would like to;
Walk the lake in under 50 minutes. Picking one more spot to Jog.

13 Sets of stairs (7J 6W)


Some day in the Future I would like to;
Jog around the entire lake, without stopping
Run the stairs for 20 minutes without stopping.


Breakfast Goal:
2 Egg Omelette (Onion and Green Pepper)
1/3 English Cucumber
1/2 Tomato

2 Sl. Rye Toast


Lunch Goal:

Bowl Of Soup
Apple

Fibre One Bar

2nd Bowl of soup, if still hungry


Supper Goal:
Meat

Salad


7:30 Snack Goal:
Handful of Baby Carrots with 1 oz ranch dressing OR Handful Sugar Snap Peas.

First off, welcome to the forums! It's great to have you around.


Second, you're off to an AMAZING start. Planning is always the smartest thing to do in the beginning. And yes, you can do it. Keep up the great work :D
 
WElcome to the board Jonathon! Starting is the biggest hurdle - that first step you take is the hardest one so well done :)


I'm sure you'll be jogging round the lake in no time - before I started the couch to 5k program, I could not walk fast let along jog, and I was amazed at how quickly that changed even though I was pretty heavy (and still am...just less so!).

First off, thanks both of you. It's nice to have some anonymous support :) I really appreciate it. I didn't realize this would be quite so public, I feel a little self-conscious about it now, non-the-less.


It was a rainy day all day, which put a damper on my activities, awesome, day number one and I didn't do anything :)


Bang on for breakfast, Lunch I had a bowl of potato salad and an apple, far cry from soup and an apple, however, I was full which was exciting. Supper was terrible, a girl I have a crush on came over to hang out and we ended up finding a recipe for deep fryed pickles, and gave it a try, so supper-wise I had Ham, and a salad, and 4 deep fried pickles.

*EXCITING MOMENT* Probably not for anyone else, but I finished eating for the night at 7. Got peckish at 8:30, when I saw this thread again, and instead of dropping off into a pit, I went and grabbed a handful of sugar snap peas, and a litre of water.


I'm just about to give up on all of this and go comfort eating guys. Toronto Maple Leafs just went down 6-1. Damn. LOL :-D

Hey Jonathan!!

You are done with the first step of your life the planning part! And you have done pretty well on your first day. :) :) Keep it up. Whenever you crave comfort food, grab a book or your iPod and just listen to music. It really helps and before you know it your craving is gone. If the day is good, head out immediately. It works pretty well for me :) Keep going. WLF is a great support. I know it can be a little self conscious at first. As time passes however, you will start taking pride in your entries :)

DAY 2:

Crazy day, spent half of the day cleaning, and half of the day working in the kitchen, didn't eat properly at all. Bowl of potato salad for breakfast, steak sandwich and cole slaw for lunch, and ribs and a potato for supper. However, I did manage to squeeze my walk in, so all in all, an absolutely terrible day. Also, piece of Beef jerky for a snack.

Exercise: Pass-ish
