Nothing To Loose - That is the goal

Well, I measured myself. No changes anywhere except 1/2 inch from my waist. I definitely need to step it up with exercise.

Speaking of, I though I'd already have done some by now, but apparently I way overbooked myself as always. I just want to do too many things on a weekend, can't help it!

Have to run!

Thats the problem with weekends too much to do and not enough time, hope you made time for the important things though, you know horse ridding lol. Thats the way I would love to spend my weekends. I wouldnt worry about that water weight it will work it self out soon. Heres to a great week.

Thanks, all.

Well, bad thing is that I did not get to exercise yesterday like I was hoping to. I ended up spending most of my time at the sewing machine. Sat. was one of my first days when I did not have to be anywhere else, so I was trying to finish my sewing projects. I also made several shopping trips, which completely wiped me out, but I was walking all over the store.

On to horses today... Well, my very well behaved leased horse has given me quite an exercise today... I had very hard time catching him, so I had to run after him in the big field. So I feel like I burned quite a lot of calories that way. In addition, I had a very good lesson, however, I did fall off on the jumping part, which was mostly my fault. I got either too cocky or careless, and just lost balance over jump. I'm ok, but my butt is sore now. :)

Calories this weekend have not been very good. 1500 both yestherday and Friday. Today, so far I'm at 600, so with dinner I should end up around 1200.

I use to have a horse Lily, she use to do that to me every time lol. I would spend ages chasing her around the paddock after I while I clued on to her. I would come into the feild turn my back to her ignoring her and start eating my apple. Worked every time she couldnt stand being ignored plus the lure of the apple lol. After a few mins I would feel her head pop over my shoulder to let me know she was there and not to ignore her, I raise my hand up and slip on her halter lol. I dont know why she use to do it she love to be ridden. I think she was bit of an attention seeker.
Sorry you had a fall but glad your ok. Those sore bums always put a dent in the cockyness next time around trust me lol.

Hi, Zoila!

Thanks for the tip. I should try that. :) Actually, what happened is my horse, Neigh, became buddies with another one who is hard to catch sometimes, and they were grazing together. So that other horse sees me and takes off and Neigh just follows him because they are buddies. I think I need to work on catching his buddy first. :)

Ur, today I'm sore all over the body. Advil will be my friend. I swear, ground gets harder with every year. :)

Good morning NTL! :)

I"m totally lost on the horsey speak in here I have to admit. But it still makes me want to go for riding lessons one day! :) Hope the advil kicks in soon! I always have a bottle near by, ha ve to love that stuff!

hey good morning.checking in on you. mmm. you make me want sushi!!! if you lost 1/2 inch in your waist (one of the hardest places to lose) and your scale says DOWN in fat %, I'd say you are doing FABULOUS.
great job!!

There she is!!! You've been hiding all weekend, yeah? Thanks for support, Skyler! I feel lighter too!

Check out my avatar - That's Neigh, the horse I'm leasing.

i was going to ask you that - if that was your horse?!?! beautiful. i wish i rode horses...

some day...post weddign maybe ;)

You have got a beautiful horse there. just popin in again..... I think you are doing amazing on keeping count of thenm calories. It's hard for me. But you have got it down. Keep it up and Stay POSITIVE

Great pic of your horse. Great job in scaling down on the waist too. When the scales dont always show our sucess thats where the mesurments are great, that show us our real progress. Well done.

Thank you, all.

This morning the scales were not that kind to me. They showed 137.5!!! I KNOW there is no way I gained all that weight overnight. Gees. My drinking was not too bad, my calories were around 1250-ish, and I did a bit of exercise last night - probably like 5 min of jumping rope, during commercials, between putting away laundry.
As a kid I LOVED jumping rope, I could do it for hours on end, but yesterday - I could not even last for more then 10 jumps at a time because my legs would catch the rope, or my heartrate/breething goes up like crazy, and I have to take a breether break. Also, the rope that I have is not very good - it is not heavy enough to keep going on its own, and it keeps tangling up with itself. Need to buy a better rope.

NTL: Oh just ignore that scale. :) You KNOW you didn't gain that weight over night. If anything you might have a bit of extra water hanging on this morning but that's it!! :) You're doing great..so I hope that doesn't discourage you at all.. I swear..we should all thro w those scales away.. I am so tempted!! Keep up the great work..

BTW The horse is gorgeous!! I didn't know you could lease them! :)

Thanks, New Leaf! Yes, I'm totally ignoring my scale today. I am wondering if my fall on Sunday making my body retain more water. I probably have some swelling and stiff muscles. Its funny, though, I've been wanting to do some aerobic exercise to get my blood flowing, but could not do much because my muscles were sore.

Have to say, knowing how my weight and water fluctuates and keeping close eye on calories/water/weight actually helps me to stay focused and encauraged. If I weighed myself once a week, I would be really pissed that I gained all that weight in a week, and it would totally discaurage me, but knowing that I gained it all in 1 day - I know that its just water, and things will go down to normal soon. :) So I'm not that phased out or discauraged at all - I'm just not liking the number, that's all. :) Not something anyone wants to see, you know? ;)

Thanks for the compliment on the horse. He is a sweetie. Many people actually deside to lease a horse instead of buying one. Keeping a horse is very expensive, so many people choose to lease before they plunge into horse ownership. And its good for the horse owner too, because it helps to pay horse's expenses.

i'm with NL - no chance (as you know) that you gained 1.5 overnight so no worries..also, with you being so good with your tracking of your water weight, etc, i'd chalk it up to what you said - your faill is probably retaining more water.....normally i'd say weight in once/week but for you, i think it is good that you do it dialy for the very reasons you said...and we are all different!! :) You are doing fabulous. keep it up!!

When I was 15 my older sister (who is 8yrs older) threw a pair of scales out the window, they landed in pool. We just looked at her and she said she threw them out because they were lying to her. Well I thought she was nuts at the time but I think now I understand why she did it. I wouldnt worry about the scales they flutate too much. Stick with you mesurement and that will show you your true progress. You are doing a really great job so keep it up.

That's too funny, Zoila! Thrown out scales... Well, I'm definitely not ready for that yet. :)

I like your avatar - is that your cute kitten? How precious! Just makes me want to come over and play with him!!! :)
