not sore from my squats???

hey

im kinda afraid to do squats because my legs always crack when i bend them, but i remember when i first started working out with my triceps they used to always crack and stuff, but after a while and through alot of pain they dont hurt or crack anymore. Would my knees do the same thing?

also i torn 2 ligaments on my left knee, one fullytorn one partly and had to get surgery. But now it feels stronger than ever doing kicks and stuff,(one or two years after surgery).

so i was just wondering if any one knows what the cracking is and if i start doing squats will the pain get better or am i screwing myself up??

i dont know if this matters but im hyper-something with my musles, like i can bend them farther than most people. Kinda like triple jointed but its with mostly all of my muscles, except my hamstrings heh those hurt
but i think if i lay my leg down straight on a flat service, you can lift my lower leg at a 17 degree angle if that helps i dont know

Start with an empty bar doing front squats. Get the form down.

hey can you link over that article from JP's on bullet proof knees, that may help this guy out?? I gotta run out to a bday party. If you don't get to it I'll do it later tonight. Thanks Cynic

Squats are NOT supposed to be easy. In my opinion you should be feeling pretty sh*tty right after firing out your last rep. It's not uncommon for people to feel nauseous and even throw up after squats. Not to say that you should feel crappy or else you werent successful, but it happens.

you do more than two sets to fully exhaust the target muscle group, thats the idea. :)

hey

for a while i used to do just no bared squats and jump up when i was on the ground when i got warmed up. So i would go down and push my self up until i jumped as far as i could.

Im thinking i might do a set with no bar, then a set with a bar, then a set with 2 5's on the bar and a set with 2 10's on the bar on my next leg day
(a set of 10)

and ill probally do it last because i know im not gonna wanna do anything thing else after that heh

if anybody got any comments ill read them soon as i see them, and thanks for all the concern!

yea; i agree, niceone.

after my last reps of squats, i am grunting and gasping for air like i ran a mile or something. i only do 2 sets then i move on to my 1 set of dead lifts; then i do 1 set weited lunges followed by 2 sets b-bellcalve raises. I cannot possibly do 2 sets of my deads after 2 sets squats.

like you said; it makes my legs feel sh***y
