not feeling abs whatsoever

Lately i've been facing a problem with my abs, i do crunches, but i do not feel the burn, i increased the reps and duration, still the same thing, i did a lot of different ab exercises, still no use, i also did sit ups with 10kg weight to act as resistance, my arms got tired but my abs didn't feel a thing, what could the problem be, i also gave my abs a long rest before working out again (Ramadan started,where i can only eat at night). but ever since i came back, this problem started.. Please help
 
I used to do hundreds of sit ups and variations using some pretty helpful 'programmes' on YouTube (search passion4profession and they have some great abdominal training videos!). I found that my muscles did get tired but could recover quickly blahhhdeeblahhh.. Anyway I found that doing pull ups and raising my legs towards my chest whilst keeping them straight whilst hanging proved to be much more affective for the lower abs at least, I definitely 'feel the burn' during and through to the next day which makes me feel it's a great way to improve ab strength!
