no sweat

I cna work out as hard as I want and im just not sweating like ive seen othe rpeople sweat in the gym... having my back drenched in sweat is absolutly impossible, i can barley get my back moist......

what gives... i know everyone is different but is it unproductive of my body to not sweat a whole lot during intense cardio? is this hindering my weight loss, or the reason im not losing weight as quickly?

cheers

That just causes water weight loss which is just temporary. How old are you? When you're real young your sweat glands don't produce like adults would. The sweat just depends on how hot you're getting and the body trying to cool you down. You know what will get you sweaty? Put on sweat pants and a hoody, and jumprope, maybe sets of 200, 10 times.

but i can jump rope for quite some time and still not that sweaty

lol

i am the same way: i dont sweat a lot. The only time i sweat is if i do reeeeeealy long cardio or if i am 20 minutes into my weight lifting routine, going at the weights as hard as i possibly can.

i am 15

It could be you aren't getting enough water, if you aren't properly hydrated then of course you will have less sweat. Some people also just don't sweat as much, if you are getting enough water (at least a gallon a day for a guy involved in heavy excercise) then don't worry about. Sweating isn't always the sign of a good workout.

ya i drink at least 3-4 litres a day, so that wouldnt be it.... i guess i dont sweat a lot, i cant say thats a bad thing, i never got to worry in the hot sun with a button down shirt.....

:)

thanks for the replies guys

Because your body sheds so much water that you need to put more back in to rehydrate yourself. So you don't get dehydrated and cramped up. 1 gallon is usually sufficient.

o ok
its pretty hard for me to drink a whole gallon/day.

the way i do it is i fil up a 2 liter bottle of water in the morning and i just take gulps throughout the day. I drink 2 of these/day. : )
