Hey everyone! so i posted in the newcomers but i think starting a diary here is a great idea!
My name is kristina and im 19. my heaviest weight 2 and a half years ago was 385 pounds and im now at 252. i feel like ive been kind of a duck in the water for the past months. im not going up and not going down and my goal weight is 180. basically i just want to be of mutual motivation to anyone. im going to be posting what im doing what im eating and basically anything to help me light the fire under my bum again haha. i think this forum will really help me and im excited to get feedback and get to know some of you!

I am aiming for 1200 calories a day so heres what ive had so far

cheerios with 1 percent milk 300 calories
turkey sandwich with sharp cheddar on whole grain roll 100 calories
baked packet of doritos 90 calories
watermelon 100 calories
= 590 calories

i also did a 20 minute ab workout lastnight with my fiance haha....he just danced around. but it feels so good to be back at it all again.

will update the rest later :)
 
today was awesome i stuck on track so well! i am proud of myself and even though its only the third day i feel like this is really going to work.

so when i was at the grocery store i was looking at soups and then it went into the chili section. i picked up hormel vegetarian chili and i was shocked at how good it is for you and the price as well. it has 2 servings in it each 190 calories, its 98 percent fat free, it has 35 carbs but 10 grams of fiber!! and only 6 sugars and 11 grams of protein. i was really suprised. so i picked up a few cans of those.
anyways for what ive ate tonight

1 can of hormel vegetarian chili
one piece of wholegrain onion bread
2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
about a handful of grapes

tonight im going to be doing more exercises like last night. the same one but ill probably add more.

AMAZING work with weight lost so far- You've already lost over 100lbs!! That's awesome! Very inspirational :D
Can I ask how tall you are? 1200cals is pretty low, you'll probably find you can eat a lot more than that and still lose a lot of weight. Check out the stickies in the nutrition section, or even just enter your stats in on a site like fitday.com. You only need to have a 1000 cal deficit every day to lose 2lbs a week- for me even before doing any exercise this means I can eat 1700cals! If you're getting hungry it just might be something to consider- anything that makes it easier for you means you're more likely to stick to it!

im 5'5 so kind of shortish haha. i do get a bit hungry so maybe on days when i am hungry ill add a few more calories. the information you gave me is very informative. i did my BMR and 1200 is well below more than 1000 its like 1700 or something. so thats alot. i think its all trial and error, like trying to find your niche on what works and everything. thats why its great posting here! :)
i see your doing awesome with your weightloss as well! keep it up girlie!

so far today has been prettyish good haha. the only thing im bummed about is i passed out lastnight without doing exercise. so i got to bust my bum tonight. :D

the food list for today

cereal and 1 percent milk 300 cals
turkey sandwich on pumpernickel bread with sharp cheddar mayo and lettuce 250 cals
baked ruffle chips 110 cals
granola thin crisp 80 cals
and tonight ill be having chicken breast with a cup of pasta and a half cup of tomato sauce 340 calories

then exercise tonight!
 
So lastnight i did 35 minutes of cardio walking. it was intense.

and today i have ate
cereal with milk 250
fish 200
rice pudding 130
half a turkey sandwich 150
2 pickles 10
ice coffee 100
mussels 390
3 squares of chocolate 100 (not so good) :(

total count 1330

tonight ill be doing the same cardio! so its going good!

So today was awesome as far as what happened today but not at all awesome for weightloss.
we had a family get together today so everyone could meet my fiance and i had one of those not so focused on food and caught up in the moment days. i need help with this and some motivation with it! :(

anyways ive probably gone well over 1200 calories. i did do 40 mins of cardio lastnight and plan on doing the same tonight.
