OMG I can hardly beleive it but ...... I Just did my mesurements and Ive lost another 10 Inches all over!! wooohooooo happy happy joy joy!! :)

CONGRATS!! That is fantastic.

I consider exercise mandatory--not optional. I feel guilty if I don't exercise 5-6 days a week. In fact, I think it's been about 6 months since I last didn't exercise that much. I love to eat too much not to work out..lol. I'd rather eat more and exercise more than the other way around. :)

That is an excellant attitude to have, I wish I shared your enthusiam for mandatory excercise. I enjoy my walks when I go, its clear my head, and I get some peace and quiet from the kids ect, its just getting up that extra bit earlier or finding the motivation after a long hot day that holds me back.

What sort of Cardio do you do?

Im so happy to announce I have completed stage 2 of my 4 part goals, As of friday the 2nd of November I jumped upon the scales to discover 80 kilos smiling back at me, 21 kilos (46.2lbs) gone... goodbye forever and good riddance! This was the exact weight I started out when we conceived our Twins. Im so happy, I had quietly told myself I wanted to be back at my pre-preggo weight by Mikayla's birthday and omg I did it! so right now Im totally chuffed with myself!

Now its time to start working on toning... I dont think theres much hope for this jelly belly of mine, but it cant to try.

15 kilos to go!

That's great! Congrats on all that weight loss!

You CAN tone up the belly. Ask Steve here. He can help you with that.

As for my cardio, I do circuit training at a Curves-type place 3 times a week. That's cardio and strength training at the same time. I also go for powerwalks, and lately I've been back on my exercise bike now that it gets dark so early. And the snow will be flying soon. Sigh..lol.

I hope I CAN lol... Ive had twins tho and it was maxed out to its full capacity so I dunno if it will ever be the same again but I can always do my best and if all else fails a doctor can do the rest lol!

I got some really exciting news.. For the first time ever, Im leaving Australia soil and going on holidays, My partner and I are going overseas in March 08 and where thinking either Singapore, Thailand or Phuket and going for 10 glorious days, This will be our first ever holiday together child free and Im so fricken excited I feel like I going to split at the seams.

My Birthday is in March so its gonna be the most awesomest present ever! I would really LOVE to see myself at my goal weight so I can shop till I drop and come back with a beautiful wardrobe for my hotted up new bod! This is a whole new push in the right direction of reaching my ultimate goal. .. We plan to go 1st week in March ...So that gives me 16 weeks to loose 15 kilos. Thats a kilo a week, I think I can make that happen, or at least break close! Jobs on :cheers2:

Hey nik.. congrats on reaching 80 kilos. I hope you have a great trip and are close if not at your goal weight when you go on it. i bet thats going to be a blast without no children. i haven't been able to do that at all in the last 3+ years with hubby but we are going to plan a night out without our son when he comes home this month if we can get a weekend to ourselves. haha.. anyways hope you are doing well. good luck

Hey Chick, I have been thinking about you!! How did your trip to visit hubby go, did his eyes drop out of his head when he seen you? I honestly cant wait for this holiday...Its just gonna be awesome and so nice to be together without all the usual kid stuff, Back to the old days, before children when we were wild and free....oh yeah cant wait! hehe.

You definatly have to have that night alone once he comes back, a whole weekend would be even better but it does makes it hard with kids. As for doing well, Last week was the worst week of my life, some little black bastards broke into my home, stole my car, completly totalled it and then get this, Parked it back in my driveway and put the keys inside where they found them, I woke up tuesday morning to find this crumbled peice of sh!t which used to resemble a 4WD parked under my carport! the car was only a year and a half old and its a complete right off, NOT HAPPY! all I can say is thankgod for insurance and if I found out who did it, there so dead!

No weightloss to report this week, Ive been so naughty, I had 2 cheat days this weekend in a row where I just let loose and binged...It was nice at the time but reflecting back on my piggy days I felt extremely guilty....which really is a good thing coz next time I go to binge, Ill remember how crap and dissapppointed in myself it made me feel. Anywho enough about that....

Today were back on track, and were staying on track, Ive got my holiday all booked and paid for, And a weightloss goal to meet so from here on in its nothing but good behaviour.

My partner came home yesterday and announced he was going on a milkshake diet, by that he means optifast or sureslim..I instantly said you dont need a milkshake diet, let me prepare your meals and count your calories for you and I'll help you to loose weight but he isnt the patient type and wants to see results fast, Hes so lucky in the respect that he hasnt got buggar all weight to loose, just a bit of a belly, nothing like mine, at least he is toned and tight, Id trade him for my stretchmarked jelly belly anyday. So I of course am going to support him through this and go on it with him, Maybe this is the kick start I need to get me past 80 and well on my way to 65. So tomorrow were starting our shake diet, Im going to get both of us enough milkshake powders to last 2 weeks and see how the process treats us.

Wish us luck!

Reflecting

Well after much careful consideration, I decided there was no way I was replacing a shitty tasting milkshakes for food, especially when the Milkshakes contain just as many cals as a heathly snack does. In saying that I brought the Optifast Vanilla for my man to try and he had one sip, look as if he was gonna throw up and then agreed, this was not gonna last. So instead he is gonna do what I do and count his calories. Im so glad I only brought one box of the optifast and not two weeks supply like I originally intended.

now back to moi....

Ive platuea again for 3.5 weeks Ive been stuck on 80 and its soo depressing...I got a holiday coming up soon which Im desperatly trying to shape up for so I really need a kick start, any suggestions?

Woohoo wackadoo yippee!! FINALLY the Platueau's over and my weightloss is back on track and budging, Ive lost another 2 kilos this week and Im so happy, Ive been stuck on 80 for nearly a month and was getting quite frustrated with working hard towards nothing.... But never the less, Im past it and well on my way to 65 again! :)

whoops minor back peddle

Well what more can I say besides whoops. 5 weeks of travelling eating along the road, dining out , not to mention christmas has cost me 5 kilos. Not good, so today was back to the grindstone, I got alot more weight and even less time to loose it in so Its major military fat camp style dieting coming right up!

8 Week Challenge!!

Im setting myself upon a 2 month challenge. In the following 8 weeks, I will excercise daily, stay within my daily amount of calories and drink water by the bucket loads.

I plan to walk everyday for up to 45 minutes.
aswell as my morning routine which consists of a minimun of ...

100+ double crunches (bean)
50+ twist crunches (bean)
50+ squats, with arm lifts holding additional 4kgs in weights
50+ arm curls
25+ arm stretched out side way extensions holding weights
25+ scarecrow lifts
25+ superman lifts
25+ Plie` squats holding weights

Each day I add a few more here and there, Today I did 30 extra crunches so Im gonna increase each day over the next 8 weeks.

Lets see what a difference, 2 months and die hard dedication can make!!

My personal challenge ends march 1st 2008! I would love to loose 10 kilos in this time frame. thats just over 1 kilo a week ...fingers crossed :)

HERE WE GO!!:driving:

Day 2 of 8 week challenge

OK so my legs are a little ooh arr when I bend down and if I laugh hard enough I realise I actually have abs so the excercise is working.

I walked this morning for 35 mins and then came home and did another 20 doing my bean and weights. Im feeling really good and positive, excercise really does release those feel good endorphins they crank on about. :waving:

Day 3

Another succesful day "calories wise!

Didnt go for my walk because I had a spring cleaning day instead and whoa is my house de-cluttered and sparkling. Anywho I stll made time this morning to do my bean and weights workout, so day 3 ends well :coolgleamA:

day 4/5

Well day 4 ended with success calories wise. sunday is my rest day so no excercise. today is day 5, I must be crazy but I swear I can see a mini difference all ready, Im so tempted to weigh myself but I wont, week one ends wednesday so I gotta hold out till then. argh the suspense

Day 6

Today is virtually the end of week one, its weigh and reveal day tomorrow. I must admit today I was this * * close to not going for a walk cause I couldnt be stuffed but I said myself, you can either lay on ths couch and get fatter or get out there and get thinner and with that I picked myself up and walked out the door and just for good measure did an extra lap then normal! so pretty impressed with the motivation in myself right now.

I HOPE I have good news to reveal tomorrow for the last weeks hard work, I certainly feel better and feel as though Ive lost weight so ....fingers crossed.

Yeah I need to do that alot lately! thanks for your encouragement xx

Im so stocked, I dont know how and I dont care why but the scales are down 5 kilos this morning! so im half way to my "going on holiday goal" Theres no better way to wake up to see the scales have shifted.. woohoo happy wednesday lol
