Nick's Weight loss journal, 230-200 by April 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today i started the day off with steak and eggs. a good breakfast, then i went to the gym. Didn't do squats or any back exersices today. Yestarday i strained my back during an exersice. I'ts a little sore but not a big deal, just didn't want to make it worse. Tomorrow i will workout again lightly and i should be 100% by monday. Had a big breakfast so might just have some fruit for lunch and then an average size dinner. Not sure if i should eat before or after work. I work 4-9 so it's kinda a back time. Weighed in at 216 yestarday morning and today after a large dinner last night and a big breakfast today i was at 221. Thats pretty typical though. Can't wait till tomorrow so i can blast my chest and tri's. Talk to you then.

Today i didn't eat well but i did burn alot of calories. Went to the Gym after breakfast, i had wheat pancakes with sugar free surup and no calorie butter spray, For lunch i ate a sandwich and an apple. Not too bad so far, but tipicaly i do start out the day eating healthy and then i get lazy towards the end of the night and eat bad. I had chocolate chip pancakes at work because they were extra and then a regular brought in pizza so i ate some of that too. haha, pretty bad, i had a stomach ache after that. But i did get a good workout at the gym in, 30 min cardio and weight lifing. and i was on my feet all day so i burned alot of calories, Just didn't eat good enought to start losing weight. But i'll get there. I have been working out 5-6 days a week now and i;m gonna continue to do so if my schedule permits and i stay motivated. Tomorrow is my day off of the gym but monday will be a good day. Bye for now.
 
hello all! it's been a while since i've been on here. I have been keeping a journal of my daily food/calorie intake. It has been working great until i stopped doing it for 4 days. hahahaha. But i'm back writing in it again and it has reall helped me stay in that calorie range. I've set it at 2400 calories per day, which is plenty for me to lose weight with my active schedule. I'm down to 216 now and i hope to see 210 by the wedding and reach my secondary goal. Not gonna make it to 200 by may 1st but i will get there.
 
so it's sunday night and i'm kinda excited to start my new workout routine. I think it will give me alot more energy for cardio. Plus i have just been too tired to finish my workouts lately or i just don't push myself as hard as i used to. I was lifting on a 4 day spit where i did basically chest, tri's, shoulders and calves on monday and thursdays and bicep,legs and back on tuesday and friday. It was great for a couple months but it caught up with me. I'm now gonna start a 5 day routine where i work one part of the body each day. Basically like most body builders do, from what i hear. I know some guys at the gym who use this split. Not that it has anyting to do with me changing my routine. I think this will be better. I hope to have more energy during my workouts since they won't be so long, plus i'll be able to hit each muscle harder than i have been. also with my workouts being shorter i will have more time/energy for cardio 5 days a week, which i need to get back in the habbit of.
