Nick's Weight loss journal, 230-200 by April 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i didn't work out for a week. went to mille lacs lake early this week and with christmass and everything i didn't get a chance to workout till this morning. I hit all my major muscles today now i have the weekend to recover, although i am going to the gym tomorrow night for some cardio. This morning i weighed myslelf in at 223 which isn't bad after eating bad all week. I REALLY need to get under 220. That would be a hugre hurdle for me. But i'm trying to do it slow so as i can gain muscle as well. In my last post i said 215 by my birthday, I dunno about that. Anything under 220 and i'll be happy, That should be obtainable. Myabe 4-5 lbs in 4 weeks. I've been eating tones of protein and eating 4-5 times a day, all small meals. SO i should see some results in a couple weeks. Lets say 220 by January 16th. wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
hey nick.. it was good reading your journal... i'm not going to any gym yet, doing cardio and weight lifting at home...

for cardio i do kick boxing (its less boring that way).. and i got weight and stuffs at home.. but i have promised myself to get into a good gym as a reward when i'm within 15 pounds of my goal :)

anyways.. keep posting.. u r gaining more readers.. :D
 
I'm glad you enjoyed it tawsif. Yeah a gym is the way to go. Makes it fun to go work out and talk to people that are interested in the same thing you are. I love hitting the sauna and hot tub after a good hard workout.
 
Well i have been eating good one day and bad the next. my wieght has stayed the same. I'm still at 223. It changes depending on when i go to the gym. If i go at night i'm usually at 227 and the morning 223. So i'm no too happy about that but i know it's my own fault for eating like crap. I need to step it up and get under 220 by my birthday on the 26th. new years i ordered domino's. ate one of there sandwiches and half a pizza. it was a mess, haha. But i'm really gonna eat good this weekend. I will post again soon and let everyone know how it goes.

yeah unfortunatley it was half a pizza. But the good news is i've been a good boy since newyears eve. I would have given my right arm for some grilled spam on that pizza though. LOL.
 
thanks Vikram! I appreciate the support. today has been great. Eat granola and yogurt, 270 calories, for breakfast then went to the gym. lifted for a little over an hour. Chest, shoulders, triceps and calves. Got home and put down a protein shake, 300 calories and 52g protein. I have been mixing my protein with V8 fusion. 12oz and 2 scoops of powder + ice. when i get done with my workout it's ice cold and awesome. I gotta say it's the best protien drink i've ever had. Better than a smoothy with fruit. The V8 has a serving of fruit and a serving of veggies and only has 50 calories per 8oz if you get the LIGHT kind. Try it out, you won't be dissapointed. I plan on eating a large meal of protein and carbs tongiht, will add some veggies too. should be well under my 2600 calories today. Since my workout this morning i feel more motivated than ever. I"m gonna hit this shit hard and drop these pounds. No wieghing myself till next monday. I WILL SEE 220. I promise!!!!! I"m pumped !! I feel like running around the block right now. LOL. Thats a big promise, but i got this !
 
Well everything is going great!!!!! I have been eating really good. I"m confident i will see 220 or possibly less. 219 would be insane. Yestarday i at 2 poached eggs for breakfast with toast. went to the gym afterwards and had a protein shake for lunch, at dinner around 6. Made fajitas with chicken and venison, onions and mushroom, i used to oil or fat while making these and trimmed all the fat off the meat. added lettuce and salsa to them. NO cheese, NO sour cream. i was stuffed. Today i ate the leftovers from dinner and made nachos. LOL. not very healthy. but still no fat in the meat. i did add some chese lots of lettuce and salsa. Could have been worse. that was my only meal of the day. It really filled me up. I did munch on some turkey breast at work, i work at a restaurant, but that was it. I ddin't feel hungry again till about 11"00. But there's no way i'm eating now. I will be sleeping soon and tomorrow i will eat a small breakfast and hit the gym, followed by a protein shake afterward and a good sides dinner. I did hit the gym 2 times of monday and tuesday. lifted the morning and cardio at night, pretty hard core but i really don't have anything else to do, unfortunetly. Might just have to hit the gym twice tomorrow as well. I do have the day off. I will wieght myself tomorrow. I know i said i wasn't until monday but i can't handle not weighing myself. OH well. lets hope for a couple pound loss.

Story of my life! I have to weigh myself constantly as well. Some people prefer not to, but I think it's good that we weigh ourselves all the time. That way, you know how you're doing with your weight loss and if you need to adjust what you're eating.


OH well. lets hope for a couple pound loss.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Keep up the good work and lay off the spam. :)
 
I did weight myself today at i was at 221. Pretty pumped about that. I think i can cut a pound by monday. Just got back from the gym, lifted hard for over an hour. forgot my protein drink so skipped the cardio and came home. I'm going to watch Grand Trino tonight, with clint eastwood. After that i'm goin back to the gym to get at least a half hour of cardio and sit in the sauna for a while.

You'll be happy to know Olux that i've NOT been eating spam. LMAO.
That was just a B.S thread to make people laugh. I though it would have gotten more comments though. Hahahah.
 
I"m crossin my fingers, i don't have time to workout on the weekends, but i do eat really good. I work long hours so i usually eat just fruit and then have a small dinner when i get home.

Ha ha!! nice! i like Olux's pic the best. tomorrow's the big weigh in. I don't know if i made it, but i know i've lost at least 3 lbs. thats pretty damn good for a week. I'm happy either way. talk to you tomorrow.

well i hate to say it but i didn't make it. Scale stopped at 221. I'm not happy about it. But in the end i guess i can't be too upset about losing 3 lbs in 7 days. I'll take that any week. I was doing so great but this weekend i let myself slip and ate too much. I always weigh myself in the morning after my workout so it's pretty consistant. IT's very possible that i could weigh 220 tomorrow morning after my workout. But either way it was a good week overall. I'm going to slow it down a bit and set a more realistic goal for next monday.

i think 1-2 lbs is a realistic goal for me and would bring me down to where i wann be in 2.5 months.
