Nibbit's Diary

ZOMG...they're so FRIGGIN ADORABLE!!!! I wouldn't have been able to say no either, I just want to pinch their cheeks and eat them they're so CUTE!!! My Mariah and her little brother looked like that when they were kittens :) I showed my husband and he was gushin over them too and said "now I want to go get a kitten". Woops, lol.

Google is the god of the internet! So many of us humble humans would be lost to ignorance without the infinate power of knowledge that Google supplies to us unselfishly!

I dunno, I started converting to Wikipedianism :D

You've been through a lot. Sounds familiar, so have a lot of us on here--welcome, and congratulations on your accomplishments!

I was raw for 3 months. It was very very expensive, and I didn't have time to sprout and dehydrate myself. Good luck! Being raw made me start to eat ahi, and I gave up my veganism then ;)

Wow, they are beautiful. I love the picture, it's like they're posing :)

I love Billy. He'll be my winter buddy when the snow comes down.
Skipping breakfast always kills me when it comes to dinnertime so I wish you good luck ! :D

p.s. Wiki IS google.. haha. At least in MY world. I don't search wiki because it's more confusing then searching through Goog's and then it directs me to wiki. Does that make sense?
I'm such a nut. :biggrinjester:

Yeah, and if you misspell something it doesn't fix it like google does. But google doesn't ALWAYS spit out the wiki page on the first page of results....I adore Wiki :beating:

Its very difficult indeed! I love it, but at the same time, I'm craving things I haven't touched in years. Just today, I was 'confessing' to Robbie that I wanted to eat fish.

Never, in all the years I was a vegetarian, did I crave fish. Now that I'm on this diet, I'm really wanting it. I can't bring myself to eat it, but I can understand it being very difficult to ignore those cravings. I don't sprout or dehydrate 'yet'. But I hope that I will be able to in the future. I have 11 more days on this raw diet. Then one day off (still vegan though), then going for another 30 days. Just to see how far I go.

Eating was bad. It was okay, but then dinner came around and I ate a lot. I have to admitt, I'm scared of going back to the ED. I am really scared. So scared that I feel like I binged tonight because I ate a lot for dinner. Feels like it anyway. Freakin out a little. (Ignore me x.x)

I kinda gourged tonight though.

A big salad with some sort of dutch lettuce.
Cherry tomatos
sundried tomatos
purple onion
red bell pepper
Olive oil and a bit of vinegar for the dressing

( :piggy: )

I also had dehydrated banana chips and tons of pistacios to munch on. :(

Now I'm hitting the red wine again! Lets hope I dont get stupid drunk again x.x

Also, WIKIPEDIA RULES! Another site I worship several times a day :)

*EDIT*

But I have to say, we're saving money on the raw food diet. meat and stuff here is super expensive, but veggies and fruit are not so bad. Guess it depends on where you live :(. I remember in SC, it was expensive to buy fruit.

Haha, they are precious! I just asked her in an email if we can come over and play with the kittens soon. I love them to pieces. I'm gonna tell her what your hubby said, haha. Cute!

WOW, same thing happened to me!!!! But I went to Hawaii 3 times, and the South Pacific all in 2004-2005, and that made me eat fish ;) Now I'm pretty much a Pescotarian, perhaps lacto-ovo, but I don't like that I consume dairy. I'm worried about calcium, though, because I don't eat enough calcium-rich greens and veggies as I think I should :( I can't have eggs, cooked--I stated trying to swallow them raw the week before my HI trip 2 weeks ago, and I might do that again, only cause I read a bunch of stuff about choline, Omegas, and protein in eggs. Cooked eggs give me digestion problems and I think they smell and taste disgusting.

I was fatter than I ever was when I was vegan. It was my own fault, for eating all the delicious vegan junk food Santa Cruz has to offer--even Vegan doughnuts! Now that I eat lots of protein from fish and avoid sugar as much as possible, my weight is easier to maintain. Beer is the killer, another reason for me to quit this month (training for a few races).

Hmmm, I'm concerned about your ED--seems t be screwing with your head. Sounds like trouble to me. I dunno enough to think I could offer assistance, but I can try to be supportive :)

HUGS!

I dont like to talk about the ED thing. It does screw with my head I think. I dont know how much is too much, know what I mean? Either way, I will try to steer away from that subject from now on. It's a burden :s

But yeah! The cravings....its weird. Sometimes I wonder if a little fishy would really hurt, but I know it would. I can't handle dairy anymore. My body turned against it, it kills me now lol.

There is a lot of weight gained with vegetarians. I hear it all the time and experienced it. "Since becoming a vegetarian/vegan, the pounds just grew on me!" Or quotes similar to that. Fries and potato chips are vegan too! People find it hard to believe that people can gain weight being a vegan, but its so easy to pack on the pounds!

What type of races are you training for? I am not one for beer, but anything stronger.....I'm a sucker for! Rum, wine, vodka.....

especially rum.... :drool5:

But so full of calories!

Thanks for the support btw! *hugs!* This forum rules ^_^

Hi Nibbit. Seen in yo profile you is down with the martial arts? Whats your bag?

Oh and as for Google I read a neat quote the other day.

"Google has made the response: "I don't know" completely unacceptable in today's society" .

Is it grammatically correct to use quotes inside a quote?

Guess I need to google that ")

You're welcome, this forum DOES rule, it makes me laugh and smile and everyone is pretty damn nice, too :D And helpful!

Repressing the Thing That Will Not Be Mentioned makes it screw with you even more. You absolutely do not have to talk about it on here if you're not comfortable. However, I strongly advise you to get assistance in another area of your life before you do something that's congruent with past behavior. Don't be embarrassed, the majority of people on here have been though an ED or just what they call "disordered eating," or carry mucho baggage with food. Lawrdy knows I have, and I feel blessed and lucky that I now view food as delicious, wonderful, life-giving nourishment :beating:

I have a 10K Trail race 9/27 that I ran last year and won, for women, and got into the local paper's Sports section :D I hope to win this year as well. I have my first half marathon 13.1 miles, in San Jose on 10/5, and have never really been into long distance running, so I'm trying to train for that, too.

I adore beer and wine.

haha! Hello Ed :D

I LOVE martial arts. I spent a lot of time into kickboxing and Wado Ryu, though I was much better in Wado ryu. I've also delved into some shotokan. But when I left south carolina, I left my awesome sensei :(.

I didn't bond well with the dutch shotokan sensei and it didn't feel the same. So I try to keep in shape using my kickboxing techniques, some wado ryu, and a lot of tae bo to keep up the discipline. But I am not as good as I used to be. When I stopped, I was two belts away from a black belt in wado ryu. 3rd degree green belt. Was fixing to go for my brown exam.

Kickboxing, I reached 3rd degree blue belt, but had a ways to go before hitting anywhere near black. I was in that for about a year and a half.

I had promised my sensei in wado ryu that i was going to be his first black belt student a month after signing up for his class :(. When I told him I was moving to the netherlands three years later, you could see his heart sink and the tears welling up :(. A very hard moment for me.

Haha, g00gle rules! Another worshipper is this new religion. :hurray:

Oooooh grats on that victory and good luck for the future one  . How awesome! I really need to do something like that :D. I will have to check that out if they do something like that in the area that I live in.

I so need that humping dog usb stick! :smilielol5:

Well if you are in the Netherlands I would be kick boxing my ass off. That is the place to do it.

I looked around where i live and they only offered shotokan classes near here. I live in the boonies of the country. To get anything more, I would have to travel more than 45 minutes to Middleburg.

Figured that shotokan would do the trick, but it didn't :(.
