I have just been catching up on your diary - and it is funny. I was reading all about these late night cravings for food and it is half past midnight and I am drinking the glass of grapefruit juice that I got when I wanted a late night snack. I go for grapefruit juice because it is bitter so it stops me wanting anything else.

You bought lots of good healthy food on your shopping trip and you are getting a lot of exercise in. I just know that those pounds are going to be dropping right off you. You will see a good change in the mirror any day - I just know it.

I know that we are on different teams - but good luck for the challenge anyway. I know that you dont need it though because you are going to do really really well.

Hi Tammy, wow your calories are real light. And you are working hard too. WHat is this challenge I am hearing about?

I will think of you and eat a little lightere than I normally would!

Howdy everyone I didn't get a chance to hop on here at all lastnight because we were fixing my 2 broken wimdows then we went to my aunts to play cards at 6 pm and didn't get home until after 4 AM sleeeeeeeepy!BUT I did very good excpet for having major LOW LOW CALORIES!And the menue goes like this......
MENEUE
BREAKFAST
bowl of honey almond special K w/ skim milk(200 cals)
LUNCH
chicken soft tacos all made FAT FREE toppings and lits of shredded lettuce(340 cals)
DINNER
2 thinly sliced lemon pepper baked pork chops(200 cals)Steam pk of baby carrots and yellow & green green beans(verrrrry good)(80 cals)
SNACKS
grapes (60 cals)
apple w/ peanutbutter(190 cals)
TOTAL CALORIES 1,070 NOT AS LOW LOW AS I THOUGHT!!BUT I WASN'T @ HOME TO KEEP SNACKING ON HEALTHY FOODS TO UP MY CALS SO THATS THE DEAL.
EXERSICE 20 MINS GAZZELE,10 MINS FLOOR EXRSICES

I'm copying ANGEL, especially since I've been really lax about reading people's diaries.

And yeah, I remember being in Weight Watchers, laying in bed with half a point left for the day and wondering what I could eat without going over. And then my group leader told us that she still did that 5 years after losing her weight!

I usually picture what the next day will be like if I get up and wake up enough to get food in me. If I'm sleepy the kids (my students) run me over and kick my butt. That's probably not helpful, but I tried!

Hey girl it still looks good... I need to get back to counting calories but i'm out of practice. I use to look at something and just know. Hey it's a work in progress but this page is about you lol...... Keep it up girl.....
 
Howdy Yeah "CALORIE COUNTING/ESTAMATING" works best for me for several reasons one you don't eliminate any food groups which makes it healthy 2 most foods you enjoyed before your healthy eating habbits ,you can still have just PROTION CONTROL and OR a healthier version of your foods you used to eat.
I am at the point where I know what the cals are in most foods I eat and therefore it isn't as stressful as it was on week 1 lol.

I do the calorie count estimate, but sometimes its really tough. I'm cooking stuffed green peppers now, but I have no idea how many calories I'm looking at. I've tried looking them up and I haven't had much luck at all. I want to know if I can afford a baked potato or not. Looking good Tammy.
 
That makes two of us up until 4am last night...lol. Keep on doing such a super job. The Black Team is going to be in first place this week--I can just feel it. :D
 
Damn girl your lookin good your on the wrong team:)!!!

Ive had a bad 2 days but will definately make the next 5 count:)No one is perfect and changing habits takes time:)!!!
 
Most important I need YOU all ,my friends to send support my way when your on here and I need to do the same,I have ALOT of diaries to read.
I noticed when I fail at eating right and exersicing I dread coming here because I feel so LOW and like a failure.Ok heres to NEW beginning's,TAMMY:hug2:

You certaintly arent a failure and if you need proof look at those pics you post:)!!!

I however am - I have gained back 15 lbs since being stressed to the max and starting a new job - blah!!!
 
You are doing so well in your food and exercise. Low low calories and everything really healthy too. You really are fully into the swing now.

Ok not much going on went out for a NICE 45 minute walk it was in
the 50's and just 3 days ago it was like -2 for the windchill lol wow!

1 long chicken taco made on flat bread with all FF toppings (270 cals)
SNACK
bannanah(100 cals)
DINNER
1 huge piece chicken breast simmered in the skillet with water and lemon pepper seasoning (300 cals)
2 serv mixed veggies(80 cals)
SNACK
suagr free jello w/FF whip cream(30 cals)
1 apple w/ peanutbutter(190 cals)

EXERCISES walked 45 minutes hills and all lol!

HOW COULD I FORGET THIS I PEAKED AT THE SCALE AND OMG 180 EVEN!MAY BE WATER BUT I AM TAKING IT AND USING IT FOR MOTIVATION MAY SEE 170'S BY WEIGH IN WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!
