I mean I just ate my breakfast... wich was the leftovers of yesterdays honey sauce chicken thing and 2 potatoes. One cup coffee, and a glass of juice and water. And im full. But I heard breafast should be "heavy" .
I agree that fat is not all that bad in moderation, but its just that I really cant eat much, dont know why really. I feel extremely sick if i eat more than some sort of breakfast, small lunch and a extremely small dinner, if any...
Maybe vegetables would go down better, since they are not that heavy...
I cant eat red meat at all since I get nausea from it, cause of the heavy feeling I get after eating it :ack2:

So all in all.. more food and more excercising it seems!

Hey Lilhun...I know this may seem like a very random question, but believe me its not...I see that you were talking about vegetables. Do you hesitate to eat raw vegetables? Like when you think of eating a salad, would you prefer to eat boiled stringbeans instead?

You can also get your essential fatty acids (EFA's) by taking flax seed oil or fish oils in the form of pills or you can drizzle some olive oil over boiled carrots or sweet potatoes with a bit of cinnamon...it gives it a sweeter flavor and you would not even notice it. EFA's are good, they actually help to clean your bloodstream of the bad fats.

I don't agree with that heavy breakfast thing personally. For me some rice pudding (2-4oz), a few strawberries with a touch of honey and Hot green tea with honey is good. Not that heavy rice pudding either:ack2: Its about balance I think.

Natalie Jo, I have acne and the scars to prove it. It recently got worse this last year and has left my face with the residual brown spots (hyperpigmentation in the area my pimple was), which take months to clear up. I use pro-active right now. It was hardly working but once I changed my makeup to Bare Minerals, it started working better. In fact, since I started using the new makeup, I haven't had a huge brake out, just a pimple here and there. (I think that my old makeup had a chemical(s) that was reacting badly to the pro-active and that's why it got so bad. Or it could have just been the stuff they put in those types of makeup.)

I also use Neutrogena, but I use the bar, I find it works better. Plus Witch Hazel as an astrengent after washing my face. I use this combination to wash my face to take off my make-up before I use the Pro-Active face wash. So, pretty much I alternate between Neutrogena and Pro-Active.

If you want the stuff you put on the pimple to make it go away, Clean & Clear Advanced Acne Spot Treatment, works the best for me. Clearasil Daily Acne Control Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream works good too and they have the ones that have color tint that match your skin.

Oh, and on E-Bay there is this product this man sells called 'Kick @$$ Acne treatment for Teens' I've tried that too and find that works great and he also has a product for adults too.

As you can see, I've tried alot of stuff. My face isn't oily or anything and I use to have great skin, but as I got older I started to break out more on my cheeks and I started to pick at them. Anyway, I've tried so many products because I've found that after a few months of useing a product my face gets use to it and then it begins to not work.

Oh, and I always seem to get worse a couple of days before TOM comes over to visit. Maybe that is a factor with your breakout?

I brought out an old TAE BO work out, and got my 15 year old to do with with me sat, lol, she quit half way through, I went all the way, and did that work out again today.

Ahh! I do Tae Bo also!! Woo Hoo! I love Billy! He keeps me so motivated and it honestly does seem like as if he is there in the room with you, helping push you through. I'm working out to his Tae Bo Bootcamp (the 3 dvd edition). That one kicks my behind but I'm able to go through it all the way too!

Hmm... I think we two should start a Tae Bo club up on here! But there probably already is one. LoL. Anyway, keep on doing what your doing girl! You rock!

I hate those hands on the floor jump out jump in things, though. Sheemoney! What am I? A Monkey?

Now, if I can only work out and diet at the same time, I'll be ready to roll!

Pink: Well I dont really like boiled or cooked veggies, I eat em raw, since they dont really have anything bad in them I tend to eat them more than usual :)
And theyre healthy!


Ive got a plan for myself.. I have alist of foods that I will eat each week. First week ill eat 2-3 bread slices in the morning, with coffee, no sugar, no cream, no milk. I like black coffee... mmm coffee :drool5:
Then as a lunch I'll eat an bread, and fish soup ! I love fish !:hurray: and some juice or milk. Then "snack" thing is raw veggies <3
and as for the dinner.. well the last food i'll eat a day, is... dum dum dum! PORRIDGE! or tomatoe salad( green salad, and tomatoe! love it!)!

I dont think thats a bad idea myself... so.. what do you guys and gals think?:bigear:

Yay! I'm almost 205, i'm like an inch close! I went to the gym today and played alot of basketball haha. I lifted a little today too and talked to this woman who is way older than me haha.

veronandez86 I used to have acne, but we went to the derma back in october and the doctor prescribed me some expensive capsules and it's working very good, it's clearing my skin away and he also prescribed Tersi Foam or something to apply for my face :) I cant wait to get my baby face back haha j/k

Gah, you guys all have this food plan for the week haha. Anyone here besides me that doesnt have any eating plans each week and still lose weight? I feel like im left out haha just kidding guys.

Hey Veronica, well the proverbial zit is disappearing. I haven't picked it, because I know all to well what will happen. And I don't get my TOM, unless induced by a pill, which will be unfortunatey next month. No fun!! icks, ugh!!
But I am still using neutrogena face wash with a seperate cloth that I don't use for my body and it is working!

but I am going to buy the neutrogena soap as well for the rest of my body. I think it will do me good, fresh skin! Nice skin tone. As long as I eat right and drink plenty of water too my skin should look better as well.

And Don't sweat the ex bf. He wasn't worth it. He should be able to see that you need this and will become healthier and live to a longer age. You are doing something awesome for yourself. Someday you will meet the right guy and he will appreciate you for you! Keep it up girl!

and about the bread. I don't know if I would consume that much bread. Bread has a lot of carbs and suger. And I would probably, if I was to do that, eat like Rye Bread. OR a whole wheat bread, with no white starch. Rye is the best.

I think I am losing water weight gals and guys...

Hello Everyone,
Well I am down to 274.0, of course it could be the metaformin making my metabolis and insulin working correctly ... I usually lose weight when I take both pills, the right dose. She wants me, is demanding me to take the whole dosage. She says I need to take care of this. She wants me to do a lot of exercise, enough to lose my breath for twenty to thirty minutes. and on the About.com Metabolic Syndrome, they say forty minutes...

so I shall try to increase starting tomorrow. The walk I am going on should take between 45 minutes to one hour... I think ...at least 45 minutes. Depends on how I do on the terrain, and it is very bumpy...on my good days in the past it has taken me 45 minutes.. I think it will really take me an hour. I am going to do my best... no turning back once I go out! I am going to do this between 10-11 am ... it should be fun ...new route... new beginning...time for another phase into the weight loss, must make it harder and the next jump is an hour and a half... and than during the summer there is a terribly hard walk that on my bad days taken two hours, its seven miles... but that isnt for another four months... thats after I get used to the walks I have talked about. So first things first ...the 45- one hour walk...

but guess what, my mom took a pic.. I feel so ugly!! lol but I was a tiny bit smaller than the last pic ... I have tried putting pics up on the before between thread and on my diary thread ..it keeps telling me the pics are too big, even when I cut them down in size on my computer ... I dunno ..but I want to show in twenty four more pounds, what I have done so far! I plan to stop at 200 ..so I only have 74 more pounds, which is good.. I can definitely reach that goal.. with time, effort and determination, and self love

Well I shall do it and will start my new route tomorrow...as the sticky thread ..dont have a routine ..which is what I had, time to switch it up a bit and make my walks harder!:hurray::hurray::hurray:

I am feeling alright Pink Clouds!! Just tired after a long day. Only took a twenty minute walk, kind of disappointed in myself, but I am trying to think ahead to good eating tonight, its been good for the past two days, not starving myself, but not overeating... taking control ..for the most part and of course switching my walks up .. I will be walking a harder and longer route tomorrow morning ..definitely looking forward to it!!

I am good, also switching my routine up a bit...work is so demanding, but staying late in the evening is making me so fatigued, so I think I will start going earlier again and resume my yoga/bellydancing lifestyle....what a dichotomy!!! LOLOLOL

Today I went early and it was good.

You are right, I am walking more than I was twenty pounds ago!! lol Puts things in perspective. I am happy I finally read some of the sticky threads. They will help me in my weight loss and maintenance journey ... gonna read more ..

but I think going in earlier would be a good idea ..when I worked the late shift I never had time to exercise ..it stank ...so maybe ealier is a good idea

so where do you belly dance? club? dvd? Dance studio for lessons?

U tube doesnt come in for me, because I have a modem ..sucks ..
