New Year New ME!

Ok everyone, finally for this year I have decided to get into shape, I am sick and tired of the way I look.
But of course I need your help!
Here is my stats:

I am 18, 6ft and weigh 175. I have no idea on how much percentage of body fat I have.

Now I am really trying to work on getting a six pack, I bought 8 minute abs. It seems to be working well. Normally when the semester starts, I walk to school and it is about two miles there and two miles home so there are days when I am walking 6-8 miles. That keeps my lower half in shape.But since this semester ended I have not been walking as much as I used to and I have lost all of my leg definition..don't worry though next semester starts on jan 24th! YAY! LOL
So here is my question, Is there anything I can do to Gte my abs to show more? I do 8 Min Abs EVERYDAY! And yes I am seeing some definition! But I still have a layer of fat over them. I have cut out soda completely and I want to start working on my diet, How many calories should I be taking in each day? I just got promoted at my job and now I am doing alot of desk work, is there anything I can do while sitting there? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Oh also should I be taking any supplements?

its said that abs are made in the kitchen. base your calories off what you're eating now. a good idea is to eat 5-6 small meals a day roughly 3 hours apart.

complete proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats or protein/carbs or protein/fats should make up each meal. drink plenty of water and supplements arent really necessary at this point.
