New Year, New Me!

Wow, you're doing so well, and motivating me as well. I did so well when I started, and then personal stuff got in the way, and now I'm struggling with getting back on my feet. I really think the challenge you started will really help a lot of people get a kick in the butt. I'm looking forward to being on your team and winning this thing!

Thanks for mentioning the crock pot, I totally forgot how awesome those can be.
 
Thanks everyone! I decided to take it loosey goosey this week on cals. i did not want 2 awesome weeks in a row and then start the challenge. Once the challenge starts, I wanna come out swingin' !! lol

So I lost the 3lbs that was my goal this week. I'm in that competition and I figure, if I can lose 3lbs a week for 10 weeks, I'll be down -30lbs by easter..how cool would that be?? ACTUALLY... -36lbs because I lost 6 before the challenge started. I'll be with a ALMOST 40lb loss, people at easter dinner will HAVE to notice!

ALSO, we are still planning to go to Nashville in June, early june, so I'd like to lose an additional 16-20lbs by then. That would put me at -56-60 lbs since last time I was at Nashville. I"m so excited. I was talking to my husband about it and said I'd like to be down about 50lbs by Nashville and he said "hopefully" and I was like "PTTT! hopefully nothing!! i make my own life! I'm not gonna sit back and hope for weight loss....i'm gonna go grab it by the horns!"

Setting mini-goals are so motivating! & seeing people's reaction when you turn up slimmer is totally priceless! :D

Hey Korrie, you are doing amazing with your weight loss - well done and keep it up.

I've lost 14lb but still don't see a difference, so also wondering at what point I get to see the weightloss. But lets stay positive and focused. We'll see it soon

So, I lost one pound this week. I'm trying to stay optimistic though. Overall, this month, I've lost 9.5lbs...but of those 9.5 lbs...half were in the 1st week! The next week I lost nothing, the next 3lbs, then now only 1. I'm really surprised by this. I thought when you start a diet, you lose alot at first. Its ok. if I can keep losing 9.5/10lbs a month, I'll be in GREAT shape this time next year.
