First off, Id like to begin to say that I have been on WLF for a few years now, BAH it makes me sick to think back then wanting to lose weight and 2-3 years later, im still in that predicament! Oh well, here we go again! One thing for sure, is that I no LONGER want to be the fat/chubby girl anymore! And I plan on changing my life because im sick of it!!

Starting Weight: 189.4

Height- 5'5

Goal Weight: 150

Time Frame: 5-6 mths (preferably before summer!!)

Plan- Little to none fat, sugar, carbs & a supplement.

Sample Meal plan:

Breakfast- Oatmeal (weight control) Fruit, water, coffee
Lunch- Low sodium/fat deli meat on whole wheat bread w/veggies & mustard
fruit, water
Dinner- Chicken breat, veggies, sweet potato, water
Snacks: Jello, fruit, yogurt, low sugar hot chocolate (choose one)

And im going to take a supplement called C.L.A (conjugated linoleic acid) helps reduce belly fat, ive already done some research, and although some may not agree, i'am trying it.

Also taking multi vitamins aswell! Drinking lots of water and exercising 4-5x week. Taking a rest on weekends, and can have a free day (woohoo)
Taking the stairs at word...da da da da...same ol' stuff :D

Generally I will post on here, what I ate (keeping track as well with an APP on my phone) and my mood, weight tracking and also my review on the CLA supplement.

I would love all the motivation and tips from anyone who reads this (be nice :blush5: )

Good luck and the weight will come off before ya know it and with lots of exersise you should reach your goal by summer or close to it.GL!
 
Hi Kate, you sound exactly like me... I've also been on and off the forum for several years, losing weight then slowly putting it back on... maybe 2011 will be our year lol! I know I for sure feel very motivated this time around.

Thanks guys! I definatly feel super motivated aswell! Today is pretty good so far, weighed myself this morning, 189.4! Which is good considering Christmas and all the food! I hope to lose roughly around 2-2.5ibs a week, so this means I gotta work really hard!

This morning I had some of that Quaker oats weight control oatmeal, its low in sugar, high in fiber and it fills you up! Probably will have some soup and fruit for lunch, with some water.

I know I can do this! I'm gonna look on here and maybe else where for some healthy delicious recipes, I don't wanna get bored eating the same shit all the time! I find that's how I fall off the wagon, boring tasteless food!
I might make some chicken fajitas for dinner and have left overs for lunch :)
But so far so good! I might do weigh ins at the end of the week.

Well today was a good day, I didnt make it to he gym, but I did lots of walking and some heavy lifting.

I ate pretty well today and drank lots of water, but I did have a lindor chocolate :ack2: and I did have a few triscuits... but thats alright :)

I did start taking the CLA pills today, and from what I read online, the only side effect was feeling a bit nauseous, and that some people took them with milk and it helped, which was what I did and I never felt ill at all.

I took one at lunch and one at dinner, but some people are taking 4-5 a day, but on the bottle it says 2 a day with meals. Im going to follow the bottle instructions and see what happens, and then might increase to another pill a day.

All in all, I feel VERY motivated this time more than ever! I want to change my life and I want to be healthy and happy!
 
Hey Kate, all the best on your journey!!! What kind of recipes are you looking for? I have heaps of healthy ones that I collected or invented... I have a really big sweet tooth and had no intention of giving up everything I loved so I got creative. Let me know if you're after anything specific and I can pm you :D
 
Basically im looking for yummy recipes that are low in fat, if you have any recipes, I would LOVE them!! Thanks a lot!!
 
Well I weigh in on sunday, so im excited to see what happened! I feel as tho ive been eating fairly well, but not sure if im eating enough, here is what I ate today.

Breakfast
Satisfaction yogurt
cheese string
coffee w/ 2tbsp 2% milk (was out of skim)

Lunch
Soup 1 cup
5 triscuits
3 wheat thins
cheese string
little pack of craisins
light hot chocolate

Dinner
subway sandwich
(6" whole wheat, turkey, no cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, green peppers, light mayo&hot sauce)

Snacks
2 dollar coin chocolate
thinsation bar
shared a med sized movie popcorn no butter
lots of water :D

I know I had a few naughty things, but I didnt have alot.

I feel as tho I should do some measurments aswell, and maybe take a few photos (GROSS) lol!

Apparently online my bmi is like 32 or 33, which is obese, but when I look at myself and my friends/family look at me, they dont think I look obese, my friend thought i weighed like 160ibs, when I told her how much I actually weigh she couldnt believe it! I think I can hide it pretty well underneith my clothes. Im a size 14 pants and large-XL tops. I would like to get down to a 8/10 and a med sized top, but I have pretty broad shoulders, so we will have to see about that one.

I hope im down atleast 2ibs this week, and I know I have to work super hard next week so that I can reach my goals! I feel excited and impatient. Im excited because I know that finally im nipping this it the butt and doing something about it, and im impatient because I know its gonna take alot of hard work and time to drop the weight. I cant and I wont give up, im taking control of my life now, and im not letting my weight interfere with how I live my life anymore. Its probly been about 6 years since my body has seen the likes of a public pool! I WANNA GO SWIMMING FOR GOSH SAKES and would like to not look like a beached whale!! BAHAHA

Any way, im ranting on now, and im tired and have to be up in 5 hours for work, but TGIF!!

Hey Kate, good luck with all your goals. I've done the same as you for the last 3 years so I know how you feel, but something feels different this time, like i'm actually going to accomplish everything I set out to do. Hopefully you'll experience a similar feeling of inspiration.

Also let me know how the CLA goes, I've been looking at this one for a while, I've just started a month of Thermopure. I'm not sure how good the fat-burning effect is, but it certainly keeps you focussed during a work out. Maybe if your CLA results are good, i'll combine both next month.

Well I havent weighed in yet! :O because I was quite naughty on the weekend, and had a few too many delicious bad things, but Im not beating myself up about it, I just gotta learn to stop at some point, but I will most definatly weigh in tomorrow, and also post up my measurements.




And as far as the CLA goes, im taking it 3 times a day, every meal. I do find that my belly fat looks a bit less giggly lol but not like a crazy change, but I do notice a slight difference. I would definatly recommend it tho.

What is the one your taking do??

Well im down to 187, not a big loss this week, but at least its a loss! Had a good weekend, indulged in a few things, but didnt go crazy! I started January 1st at 189, But I did use to weigh in at 207!! so technically ive lost around 20ibs!

I feel so good about this! I tried on clothes the other day at a store I use to be able to fit into when I was in highschool, but then couldnt because the pants and stuff were WAY to tight, so I went in and tried on some jeans and i had to go down a size in some styles! This just gave me more motivation than ever! I can do this, and im going to do this!!

Here is what my meal plan is for tomorrow:

2 pce 50 cal bread

smart food chocolate cookie popcorn

healthy stuffed chicken breast
