Hey April, I have an idea. If I recall, even where you are here in Tejas, arent you guys having a drought too? Wanna do a rain dance with me? I mean, nothing major, just a couple of skips and kicks and such. I figured it couldnt hurt, and it may just help! I think I forgot what a rain drop looks like :(

Kate did you do the rain dance without me? It's on it's way It's raining right now in Corpus Christi and it should be here tonight! They said we should expect heavy rain for the next 3 days and then rain all through next week! Thank God! Now, we have to worry about flooding! The ground is so dry that if it rains the way they say, it won't be able to soak it up fast enough. If it's not one thing it's another! Where are you in Texas?

Well, what do ya know. 20percent chance tonight. EIGHTY percent chance on Sunday. Ooooo my ol man is gonna be pi$$ed! He wont be able to golf. Darn. Guess he will have to hang out with us. hehe.

I am soo glad. Im on a hill, so hopefully safe from drowning. Man, its either one extreme or another. sheesh.
 
Yep, hubby will have to be loading cattle in the rain.Eeew! We are on a hill too but it floods all around us. When the flooding starts, we get trapped! It floods in every direction around us!
 
It's great to hear you are going to get some rain april, dont worry about hubby a little water won't hurt him :)
 
Hey April! Just checking in on ya! How's your diet coming along?? I'll send you some of our rain.. I think it is sapossed to rain for the next 2 day's!! I guess I wont complain.. As long as it isn't snow!! :)
 
Well, the rain finally got here if that's what you want to call it. It's more like a mist than rain. The forecast is for rain for 4 days and only expecting about 1/2 an inch total! So, just drizzly and dreary! Well, yesterday we traded in the old truck. A big Dodge Ram extended cab 1997. Got a 2005 4 door Chevy Colorado. Alot smaller, but it's great! It's only got 20,000 miles on it so it's still under warranty. Gets more than twice the mpg. And the kicker is the same finance company approved us so our payments stayed the same ( just for longer) We all ate too much this weekend, but we are determined to get back on track starting tomorrow! Oh, hubby and daughter got into it Friday night and it ended with him taking a belt to her a@*. Later they talked and it looks like she is finally getting it. I'm praying that things keep looking up for us. Everybody, please include us in whatever prayers you might say.

Well, things have been really hectic around here. I haven't been eating real healthy but I haven't been eating a whole lot either. Just too busy to remember to eat. I did go ahead and get some "meal bars" to keep with me in case I get hungry. Daughter is really helping with keeping me on track. She actually is a great coach! It helps that she stands 6 inches over me and could probably squish me like a bug!
 
April, I love your concept of your daughter squishing you! :) But isn't it great to have a supportive family member?? :) Congratulations on how well you are doing! :)
 
Thanks! Well, I got frustrated at WalMart today. I wanted a portable CD player with a radio. They have one:$85!! Well, I don't think so! Now I'm gonna look so funny when I go walking. I got the 9.99 CD player, the $5 radio and the $5 cassette player. CD player has case with strap and the others have belt clips. I'll be walking with all 3 so I can pick and choose my music! Oh, I just found out something really cool about our new truck. The CD player is actually a 6 disc changer!!! I can't wait til John gets home so I can show him! Looks like next week I might be able to finally join Curves! Just finished getting the bills caught up from back in November! If John's check next week is what we think it will be, then I can afford the sign up fees!!!
 
Good morning all! Just thought I'd check in and say that the past week my weight loss has totally sucked! Hmmm, gonna create some menus tonight for the next week's meals!

Well, some how I ended up on page 3! Wow, did I end up on the black ball list or what? Well, I haven't been around as much as I was but with the new stuff going on with family we've been really busy around here. Daughter and I are working out together and we're getting John involved too, so I figure building a happy family is the number 1 thing. Besides, lately I've been getting some bad feelings about so many "regulars" suddenly disappearing. Makes me wonder what's really going on here. I'll check in when I can, but I don't think it will be as often. Good luck to everybody. Those of you who have my e-mail, check in with me and let me know how you're doing. I'm not running out on my team. I'll still be here through the challenge. Haven't done that well on this one, but I'm still trying.

keep at it april, any loss is a good loss, I might give you another phone call later in the week to check up on you. It is great thing are going better with your daughter.
