New year, new diary and ready to lose!

Instead of resurrecting my diary I started back in September, I feel the need to make a new one. I started out really strong, but by the time the holidays hit, my diet went by the wayside. I only gained back 8lbs over the holiday season, but it was still a huge hit since I'd worked so hard to take off the weight.

So here's to getting on with it! Meeting my mini-goals, that will lead to my overall main goal of wearing a size 7 again! You're all such an insparation, and this site has an amazing support system and a great source for information.

Here's to health and losing weight! :cheers2:

Well- I found myself wide awake this morning at 4:45am. I don't usually get up until 6am to get ready for work so I worked out for an hour. First time I've ever worked out in the morning! I have to say, I feel pretty dang good. I figured I'd be super tired at this point, but I'm really not! So my week is off to a great start!

That's awesome! I keep thinking about working out in the morning, but I can't get up for the life of me!

I figured since I was already wide awake, I might as well! It's after 1pm now, and I haven't been tired all day.

I'm seriously contemplating making myself do it once or twice a week!

Today, I woke up feeling as if I'd be better off dead. SOMEONE gave me their cold, and I feel like if someone were to poke my head it would explode. Freakin' fabulous. I don't feel like eating, but I've forced myself to eat a yogurt.

Working out tonight is seriously going to suck.

If I were that unwell I would probably go home and rest... hope you feel better!

take it easy tonight if you arent feeling well =T you dont want to do more more damage... lol

woooh! size 7!!! yeah! that is my goal too^^ its curvy but not stick thin.

see you around the forums =D

Oh man, I feel so much better today! I'm still stuffy, but at least I don't feel/look like warmed over death.

Today is the second day this week I've been wide awake at 4:30am... So I got up and worked out. I feel pretty good about that! I need to make up for yesterday diet-wise. I only had a yogurt, a cup of broth and a chicken breast all day since I didn't feel like eating.

im glad you feel better^^ keep up the good work and it will surely pay off. hehe morning workouts are insane =P but soooo energizing!

Another day, another temptation. What do I see in the kitchen here at work when I go in to get my morning coffee? Boxes of red velvet cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes. SERIOUSLY?!? The best cupcakes EVER. Apparently it's the 40th bday of the VP that sits in this building, so his wife brought in Sprinkles Cupcakes for everyone in our building.

UGH... So I get my coffee and here I sit with my bowl of Kashi GoLean Crunch, watching everyone eat those yummy little red velvet treats. BOO. I'm proud of myself for not caving in though... Those little cupcakes are not diet friendly. You can gain 3lbs just looking at them haha!

w00t w00t.. I lost *4* pounds this week!!! I have officially dipped under 200! 196 looked mighty sexy on the scale this morning!

Ahh yes... Now I don't feel so left out by not eating that cupcake yesterday :)

Weekends used to be so hard when it came to sticking to my diet. Always going out for dinner/drinks with friends, going to dinner parties and bbq's... But it dawned on me today that for the past month, I haven't even thought about it. I am so proud of all the progress I've made since starting my weight loss journey is September. My healthy lifestyle, has become second nature. When I feel like snacking, I fill my water bottle and eat a few almonds or a ryekrisp. When we go out for dinner and drinks, I get a salad with grilled chicken and no dressing. I'm not tempted to order pasta anymore. Those 4 or 5 sugary drinks I used to have during a night at the bar are no more, I get a vodka diet coke, and only have one. I used to dread exercising and I'd find any excuse to not go... now I look forward to hitting the gym. I can't wait to get off work and get on the treadmill.

Okay, Amber's rambling... I'm just proud of everything I've managed to change in my life over the past 4 months!

I can officially wear my size 12 pants... ALL OF THEM! I've been a 14 or 16 for so long, I forgot how nice being a 12 is!!! I've gathered up all my 14's and 16's to donate to the goodwill, and all the nice professional stuff is going to a place here in Seattle that gives nice work clothes to women that can't afford them.

I was so excited to drag out my box labeled 'Clothes size 12/Large' and start trying things on! Eeeeeeeeeee!

Hey hun! Wow good job on your weight loss so far! That's amazing! I totally get how you feel about wanting to go to the gym and seeing how your eating/ drinking habits change! Last year, whenever my sorority sisters would ask me to go to the gym with them, I'd always find a reason not to. Now, I'd rather go to the gym than do homework ANYY DAY! :) AND GREAT JOB ON THE DRINKS! I was afraid giving up drinking would be hard but I guess we get used to it after a while. ;)

Going down a size or two feelings awesome, doesn't it? Soon you'll be into the single digits! WAHOO!! Keep up the a-m-a-z-i-n-g job! I'll check back on you sometime!

PS OMG I also remember reading on some thread that you mentioned something about buying a Louis Vuitton? I think! I'm pretty sure. What kind of bag do you have? I have a Speedy in DAMIER and the NEVERFULL in MONOGRAM! :)

Yeah, I thought giving up alcohol would be a lot harder than it really was. Really, I don't miss it. When I do have a drink, I usually don't even finish it lol

Last night I went and tried on wedding dresses to kind of get an idea of what I wanted and the consultant pulled all my dresses in a size 12. 2 of the 5 were actually a little loose! I am hoping by the time I decide on a dress and it comes time to order it, I'll be able to say "Yes, I need that in a size 8."

The last time a purchased a dress, it was a bridesmaids dress for my friend's wedding over the summer, and I bought a size 16. So trying on a size 12 dress made me all tingly!

I only lost half a pound this week, so I'm guessing that's my body telling me it's time to change up my workout and step up the intensity! I'm happy I still lost lol...

I'm working on it!
