New workout routine

I have been working out every second day regularly for a while now, I am thinking of starting to workout everyday, but different muscle groups. For example on monday I'll do cardio, legs and abs. Tuesday Upper body etc. The reason I want to do this is because my College Schedual has so many breaks and I have more time to workout, plus a three hour break is hard to fill up with stuff to do. My goal is to gain muscle, so is this a good idea, or should I just stick to the every second day workout?

i would say to keep with your every other day full body workout. Just every month or two take a week off to fully recover your muscles because the full bodies are very intense. for your diet make sure high protein ( as many grams of protein as your bodyweight), and lots of carbs for energy. Also dont forget fruits and vegetables.
 
dswithers has asked the right questions. Don't go in that gym, until you have a clear cut purpose. Otherwise, you're just not gonna get anywhere...
