Hi everyone! My name is Jessica. I'm new to this site, and have been looking at a lot of posts. Everyone is doing a fantastic job at losing weight. All of the before and after photos are AMAZING!!! Anyway, like I said, I'm new to this site, but not new to the idea of weight loss. My weight has fluctuated up and down my entire life (I'm 28 now). I have, in the past, lost large amounts of weight (65 pounds one time), only to gain it back and more from not keeping up with diet and exercise. I have determined this time I'm gonna lose it and KEEP it off. I'm tired of being fat and tired all the time. I have an (almost) 8 month old baby boy, and most likely he will be my only child due to pregnancy complications. So I won't be gaining pregnancy weight again in the future. Before I got pregnant, I was big ----241 pounds at 5'3". The day I went in to have my son, I weighed 276. Most of that was baby and water (due to pre-eclampsia). Nine days post-partum, I was 11 pounds lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight (230). My weight since then has fluctuated up and down. The middle of December, my weight was at 246, the highest since having my son. I have lost 22 pounds since (in about a month). I would like to be down to 175 by my birthday (July 7). That's about 2 pounds per week from today. I know I can do it. I need support, though. That's why I joined this forum. I eventually would like to be down to 135, but for now 175 would be fantastic. That's what I weighed when I got married. Anyway, I hope you all don't mind that I wrote so much......just wanted to introduce myself and tell my story. Thanks for reading, and I hope to get to know some of you better and join you in your journey for weight loss. Just keep coming back here every day, even if you have a bad day! It will help you stay motivated! I'm going to follow my own advice from now on too!
 
Best of luck to you! I started at 238 (pregnancy weight) only to lose 8 lbs after delivery. Then I gained it back.(I think its way harder to lose the weight after you have had a baby) I have also lost and gained alot of weight at least 3 different times. I am 195 and my goal is 135 or so. So 60 lbs to go. It started at 100lbs so soon I will be able to say I lost 100 lbs : ) Good luck jessica! You can do it!
