Hi Everyone, I've been around here for most of my journey, so some have been waiting for an update. I started Jan 5/09 and I've had my struggles like everyone. I love my new life and would never think of going back...NOT AN OPTION. I've learned many things but the biggest thing I can pass on to anyone who is struggling, it will get better, it's just a bump in the road, and with every bump we learn so much...it's essential for us to learn so we can keep it off when we get to goal. I still have quite the journey ahead of me, but I'm prepared for the fight. I am hoping to be at my goal of 169lbs in 2 years, so I'm almost through my first year and I'm almost half way there now. Don't be so hard on yourself or critical if you have a bad day or meal or whatever. You are human, I had 3 "bad days" over halloween this past weekend but I compensated for it and this week I dropped 3.6 lbs. So nothing is impossible. I will strive to reach 100lbs mark by my 1 year anniversary, but if I don't that's not a failure to me...just a goal to work towards to keep me in check. Anyway, I've rambled long enough, here are my starting pics at 339lbs and my pics from yesterday at 262.6lbs. Any comments are welcome! I'll keep you posted on my loss every couple of months.
