Becky's Plan
  • Update once a week with measurements
  • Update daily with calorie count and foods eaten
  • Eat Organic as much as possible
  • Friday night is my -eat anything for dinner- night
  • Run on the treadmill at least once a week*
  • Walk to the supermarket at least once a week
  • Play on the Wii Fit at least once a week
  • Alternate the fruit and veg I eat each week
* A short run at least once a week is better than not running at all, and as time goes on and my caesarean scar heals up, I'll increase the amount I run.

Hi there!

How are you. How long ago did you have the c section. When I had mine I swelled up so much I could hardly walk for the 1st two weeks. I just wanted to say hi.

I hope your quest to losing weight will be successful. I will be checking this post once in awhile to see how are you doing.

Just have self control and consistency and I know you will be heading a successful weight loss quest.

Thanks both of you. I had my c section four months ago. The scar has healed well and I'm back to my usual self, but if I run or overdo it, I get pain in my tummy, behind the scar.

Updated with todays menu. Measurements coming when I have a bendable tape measure! I did very well today, I have to say. No crisps or chocolate! I made chilli con carne from scratch for the first time, used kidney beans in a meal for the first time, and when I wanted chocolate.. I ate lots of fruit instead.

I have noticed I want to snack at night time, not in the day. I wonder why that is..
Tomorrow I think I'll steam some carrots as a snack. Sunday roast tomorrow, savoy cabbage, organic potatoes and carrots and broccoli. Might try that salmon with cheese spread for lunch..

I didn't plan my food for today and I went a bit crazy - just over 2000kcal which is my maintain calorie intake, not my weight loss intake. No win no lose for today I guess.

I can't believe I've kept this updated, but I have and I'm very proud of myself!

Three weeks ago I babysat for my niece and nephew in laws, and I weighed 13st 9lb on their scales. Today I got weighed and I was 13st 6lb! CHUFFED!

Also, had a scary moment last night. I've been eating very well for this week and last night I was starving, so I ate those fatty spam sandwiches, which was like 1000 calories in one go, pretty much. Anyway, my heart skipped a few beats, or something, and I was petrified. I literally thought that was it for me, I was a gonner. I knew I'd done wrong with that spam and I was so scared I chucked half up. I never make myself throw up and don't plan on it again, so I hope whoever is reading this doesn't think I'm stupid. I was just so scared, I wanted it out.

I refuse to eat like that again anyway, if I'm hungry, I'll just take the time to make something healthy. Dave, my boyfriend, he bought crisps, chocolate and coke before and asked me if I wanted some and I said no, and I really didnt want any. I didnt refuse because I didnt want to go off track, I just really truly didnt want to eat them and my first thought was, why eat them when they don't do me any good, thats just silly. Good, eh? :D Chuffed.

I'm just waiting until pay day now so I can go and buy more food cause I've ran out of healthy stuff. You can tell by reading my weeks menu. It's gone from great, to good, to worse. ^^ Sleep now, I'm knackered.

Hello

I am glad you are doing great!!! I remember getting pain behind my c section scar for about the first 6 month after it and also the first 3 months of my second pregnancy. Congrats on the weight loss and with the new baby!

Last week I ate 3324 calories, just 176 calories short of a full 3500kcal to lose one pound. I won't weight myself yet though. I'm proud of myself for sticking to writing my food menu down.

I'm selling my treadmill tomorrow because I need room in my home, but I will be buying a smaller exercise bike to use. I'm doing well food-wise, now I need to exercise to kick up the weight loss. :)

Tonight I'm ordering a burger and chips. I refuse to feel guilty for it! Back on track, right after I've eaten it.

Updated my menu. I missed dinner, it's very hectic with a four month old in your life! :D I'm happy though.

My house is finally coming together, and once that's sorted, my weight can finally be sorted too! I want to buy a small exercise bike, and am thinking of getting one with a cross trainer included on it. We shall see. :)

Need to get more fruit and water into my diet, and try not to go so long without food.

When my babies where little I used to prepare fruits in the mornint or buy the frozen ones and when I would breast feed or later on bottle I would make myself a smoothy so that way I got all the fruit and dairy some extra protein as well. Hopefully that helps you out!!!

I started off well today, and the more the day went on, the worse I got.
Need to restock my fridge anyway so will do that tomorrow and see how we go then.
