Thanks for the motivation i need that sometimes. Im getting rid of junk food from my live for good. Thats the main reason i got to 245 pounds. And i have lost weight before but i couldent keep it off but thats my own fault. This time its not just a diet for me its a life change.

To start my life change i asked my docter if it was safe to do a 5 day water fast to get rid of the toxins that are in my body from bad eating. He said as long as its only 5 days i wont need any supervision. So its day 1 12:40pm right now and i feel good so far i have a good amount of energy.

Here is a picture of how i am now at 245 really fat

Here is a picture of me when i was skinny

My goal is to get back to that 2nd picture look

Well i came back from college and i was feeling really weak from my water fast. So i decided not to do the fast and just eat normaly. I ate a meidium size bowl os kellogs raisin bran.

Can someone make this a sticky thread.

Diaries can't be stuck - but you can add a link to it to your signature, or subscribe to it so that it will show up in your control panel..

Or do a search on threads created by you.. diaries move pretty fast around here -there's lots of tricks to finding yours again..

Fasting while maintaining a normal lifestyle isn't healthy for you - glad to see you're eating.. while it sounds strange, you'll be more successful losing the weight you want and having it stay off - by eating and changing your habits not by starving yourself...

Welcome wagon :)

Starting a diary is a great idea. There is a lot of support and motivation on here. Good luck on reaching your goals and making this lifestyle change. You sound ready to me.
