New here, emabrking on a journey to joing to 100 club

You are doing so great! I just started on this forum and it is filled with so much motivation and inspiration! At my heaviest I was 312 lbs and I am 5'8! I am now 190 lbs and counting down. I look forward to hearing how your journey goes :)

Hi yellow,

Great job thus far.... And awesome story I am very proud of both you and your wife for taking that step towards a better healthier life! if you need any help please let me know I also have a similar story, and found myself at 5'3" weighing 186lbs and my husband 6'9" weighing 333lbs and with 3 boys i knew i had to do something, not only for my own well being and my husbands but for our 3 children that needed us to be there for them! So i found these all natural products that one of my friends used and had amazing results so i figured why not! there is a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't lose at least 8-15lbs in 8 days! It is something both you and your wife can do together and its all grocery store foods so you don't have to buy anything extra. My first 8 days i lost 13lbs and 11.75" off my body inches most of it coming off of my core.My husbands first 8 day results were 18lbs and unknown inches (he wouldn't let me measure lol) but my total weight loss is over 40lbs and I have kept it off for more than 8 months my husband is over 30 but he just started about 1 month ago.i have kept the weight off and i have never felt better. If you are interested in hearing more please feel free to email me at nzeleji@yahoo.com. I hope to talk to you soon :)

Any and all support is appreciated (I'm sure you guys already know that :p)

As much as I am not a fan a pics and such I plan to take photos the whole way and who knows, maybe someday I will be completely ok taking the pics right?

I am creeping up(well, down!)to the 270 mark and it feels good. I picked up a 40lb free weight set at walmart last night for 20 bucks! Don't get me wrong, they feel like 20 bucks BUT that doesn't matter. What matters is it is 1 more tool I can use to exercise at home.

I am still using the wii fit and make it an absolute point to do at least 30 minutes of the "free step" with a weighted backpack and/or wrist and ankle weights after work as soon as I get home. Recently, I have also raised the wii fit off the floor a bit with a couple of boards. The step up onto it is now about 4-5 inches as opposed to just the fit itself which is about 2? Everytime I add height it sucks and my legs kill me but it seems to be working. I have only missed a day or 2 and have found myself getting mad that I didn't MAKE time to do it on those days.

Additionally, I realized one of my hobbies is/can be decent exercise. As I'm sure you noticed in one of my pics, I keep reptiles and specifically LOVE my large constrictors.

The snake in the pic on the last page is Bubbles, the albino burmese python. She weighs about 60-70lbs and every time we take her out it is a workout!

It never even dawned on me that cage cleaning day is just and extra 2-3 hours of cardio until just the other day. Not to say it takes the place of the regularly scheduled workout but I was happy to realize that my real passion, my reptiles, could aide me in this process.

Sorry for the long post guys and gals. I do get wordy at times!

@ash looking good! I looked at your profile pics and you are a very pretty girl. Huge congrats on the amount of weight dropped.

@ Nickole Holy hell your hubbie is tall! Congrats to you both on the loss .

Everyone here is an inspiration.

Hey all, today I should hit my 40lb mark!

Last night I weighed in at 269.4lbs. 39.2lbs lost so far!

I know weighing every day isn't always recommended but I like to track it. As long as it follows the trend today, I should be at the 40lb mark and on my way to 50!

As long as I hit my mark, I will post some progress pics later. Without going back a page, I think the last pics I posted were around 25lbs down.

HIT MY 40LB MARK!

New pics too (still eww but it's a work in progress :p )

I put all the comparison pics in post 1 for organization but will throw todays pics here.

268.6lbs!

-50 POUNDS, HERE I COME!

Fantastic, Yellow!! :hurray:

Congrats on hitting that 40lb!

Keep up that awesome rhythm and you'll reach your goals in no time! You're gonna decimate that 50lb milestone!

Wishing you nothing but the best!

So, I may have found my plateau...right around the 40lb mark although I did go up a bit being Easter weekend and all QQ

It was delicious though. XD

I started p90x yesterday. Day 1 down, 89 to go for round 1. OH MY GOD I HURT LMAO
I have had it forever but have always been hesitant because...well, it's an intimidating program and my mindset has not been perfect. That's too hard or I am not in good enough shape to start that. Things like that. Since I am blowing all excuses out of the water because they just get in the way, I sucked it up and started the program yesterday.

A few things to say....
I haven't done that many pushups in my life let alone a 1 hour span.
I did feel like throwing up a few times(didn't, but felt like it).
I felt really proud afterwards that I had done the whole hour+.

Then I realized day 2 was coming too soon! :p

Here's to day 2 when I get home from work!

So maybe it was just easter dinner that was refusing to leave my body LOL

I am now down to 263.3lbs

45.3 lbs lost so far. I am going to kill it this week. -50 by next tuesday? I think so.

Shooting for -60 by my bday(on the low end) at the end of may. I would be over joyed to hit the -65lb or greater mark by then.

-60 will put me just a hair under 250.

Time to step it up a notch!

I just HAD to comment, on your pic of your belly NOT touching your desk. It sounds small but its not! I dont tell many people this but after i lost 50lbs last summer i was getting dressed in the bathroom wearing black leggings, looking at myself in the mirror i noticed something white on my crotch, i tried to rub it off and im like "wtf is that!" turns out, the very top of my thighs were'nt touching and it was the light comming through them. LOL i know, i know, a little TMI but my point is, things like that matter! they make you see your accomplishments and make you want to do more! its a great feeling, i can totaly relate is what i mean. congrats dude, keep up the good work.

So, it's been a while since I updated.

I finally hit my plateau around the 50lb mark and it lasted for 4-5 weeks.

While I did not go up any, it was fairly hard. At the beginning of this week, I finally started to drop again.

starting: 308.6

current: 255.2

total 53.4

I will take new pics at the 60lb mark.

Almost all of my clothes are too big but I am still procrastinating buying new ones.

My wife is now down 42lbs.

her start: 237

current: 195

She was SO excited to be back in the 100's. :)

I feel your pain.. I plateau'd for 5 weeks, and I was going crazy by the end of it. It's so discouraging! But, that's the difference between winning and losing - those who can continue pushing through it!

You should defo buy yourself a couple of snappy new clothes! Maybe not an entire wardrobe, but new clothes make you feel amazing, regardless of your gender. :p Nothing like having more confidence, knowing you're fitting into clothes that you would previously not have been able to wear!

Give my congratulations to your wife as well!

Great work to the both of you. :) Keep it up!

Hi everyone. I know I have not been keeping this update like I should.

I hit my -60lb mark on Friday.

SW: 308.6 2/16/2012
CW: 248.6 7/29/2012
GW: 190-200

It feels good to break that next mark. 50 lbs felt great...but when it ticked down and I was down 60...holy crap. I went out and bought some new clothes this weekend.

Today, 7/31, I am wearing size 36 jeans. I am wearing a LARGE undershirt as well as LARGE underwear. I actually tried on a LARGE t shirt and button up(still a little snug) but holy crap I can TRY ON larges. I have a huge chest though so until the man boobs are toned up, I will probably stick with xl's :p

I have new pics, but don't have them with me at work so I will post them when I get home.

My wife is down 45lbs now. She looks good ;)

Wow! You're doing so great, what a difference between your latest pictures and your first ones. Well done :hurray:
