Hey guys, i happened to stumble across this site and came up on the weight loss before and after etc. alot of these pics are so inspirinig on this site of peoples wightloss:) so i have decided to try and lose alot of my weight . here are some pics of me now at my current weight which is 292. i want to get down to 195 ultimately. i have set my first minigoal to lose 15-20 lbs by my b-day which is 12-18. ill let yaw know if i succed. wish me luck
 
thanx all for the support...ill will definately let yaw know how its going for sure. i am cutting down on what i am eating and doing a 1500-1800 cal a day. no more sodas or fried foods.
 
That sounds good, but don't forget that you really need to include some sort of proper excercise as well -dieting alone will get you results, but not nearly as fast or effectively as combining it with some sort of hard exercise. :)
 
My bad i meant to mention that..yah i plan to work out at least 5 times a week. i did my first workout today..i walked a mile and a half...:)

Heya dude, and welcome. I started at 320ish and now im down to 230, so ive nearly done a ton. its taken me about 5-6 months so far which is pretty good (i think) by using the same methods as you.

Start a diary thread and im there!
As a piece of advice, have your fries or something from the old life once a week or so - this way you wont end up craving it so bad and binging on it :D (you can work it into the diet but having less calories on other meals usually easy enough).
If you're not already signed up - try fitday.com or sparkpeople.com or similar to keep track of the calories :D
