I'm new to this forum as well as excercising really. I would like to get in shape and get toned. I'm not in horrible shape but I need some work. I'm 22yrs old and I weigh 190lbs. I am about 5' 8" tall. I was hoping for someone to possibly provide me with some sort of foundation workout/diet plan. I have a gym membership and can currently workout mon-sat. I would like to lose weight while building chest and arms and toning my midsection. Currently I'm starting to walk/jog everyday for 30mins and bench (flat/incline/decline) 10reps/3sets every two days to heal from soreness(ie. mon. then thurs.) as well as doing flies and tricep extensions on the days i bench. On the days I don't do chest and triceps I do bicep curls along with my 30min jog and a 30 min ab workout. Currently, as far as my diet, I am clueless. I don't eat breakfast, and for lunch I eat a ham or turkey sandwhich and for supper a home-cooked meal (ie. spaghetti, red beans n rice). I don't really snack throughout the day either. I know something isn't going right however, because I usually go to the gym after work @ 5:00pm and I feel tired/lazy while i'm there and I'm sure it isn't a motivation thing. More protein maybe? I don't know...please HELP!!!
