New diet-journal - myfoodcamp.com

Hello,

we just released a new web-application () which aims at helping eople to keep their diet/food-journals up-to-date and to share it with other users. It is free, too.

Not only can you track your eating habits but also your activities and your progress. With our widgets/banners, you can include your stats directly on other pages, including this forum.

I hope you like it and feedback is highly appreciated,
Thomas

I tested it out but I gave up after a few minutes.

Entering food was hard because there are no convenient measurements like cup, oz, tablespoon, etc. Everything is in grams or pieces (requiring grams/piece.)

Also the user interface in general was confusing/hard to use. There's too much AJAX and client-side stuff going on. I ran into bugs just trying to add/remove foods using the pre-populated food database.

Thank you for trying. As for the food-entering, good point.
Do you remember what the bug(s) were?

Thank you.

Go to the screen where you search/add food you've eaten. Search and find something. Add that food and it appears on the right side of the screen. Add the same food again and it will get added again but the grams will be wrong (it will add the previous grams of the same food to that food's total.) Add a third of the same and it will do it again. Now go and delete an item from the list on the right and it will delete one item but then it breaks and won't let you delete anything else.
