Hi everyone.
Well, to start off, im definitely a new addition to this community. My motivation struck me today. Im actually ready to do this..and i actually NEED to do this. I am not a healthy weight. I am also a tall girl. So i know when I loose the desired weight I want (60 pounds), I will look good! My boyfriend is also on the same boat. He has not been feeling the greatest about himself lately and is going to start too.
A little about me, Im a 22 yr old female from ontario canada. Ive never, ever been comfortable with myself or my appearance, mainly because i would say i have been over weight my whole life. I wear the same black shirt almost everyday because it is baggy and loose fitting. I do not want to feel like that anymore.
My goals are to adapt a healthy eating lifestyle into my chaotic life. With a new 12 wk old great pyrenees puppy and going to school fulltime while trying to work part-time, life can be too busy to even think about what Im gonna make for dinner tonight - so we grab a pizza. Again, terrible choices.
I love to run. Last summer, my boyfriend and I ran almost everyday, and i dropped a good 30-40 pounds. then winter comes, gym passes expire, school starts, and by the time i knew it, i was back to my old habits.
This time, im gonna stick to it. I plan on running every other night (tues,thurs,sat's) while trying to follow the weight watchers point system. I like that system because it allows you to eat whatever you want, you just learn to portion yourself properly - and whats really good for you and whats not. I hope to get on here, almost everyday (end of semester for school - lots of projects due). I think that if i come on here and log what i do and what i eat, i'll be more motivated.
well, thats it. my first and certainly not last official post. i will be sure to keep the updates coming. until tomorrow...
