after going through my past weight trials in my previous threads i knew i had a lot to work on...however, after going through my caloric intake today it dawned on me i've lost some of my nutrition knowledge i had before:

cereal (flax with pumpkin spice and 1 percent milk)-500
apple-60
ice cream sandwich-300
carrots and dressing-150
bean and cheese burrito-240
bagel with peanut butter and a banana-680
apple-60
starbucks latte-130
cous cous with sauce-410
-------------------------------------------
day's calories=2,530

granted, i didn't plan on starting my diet today but tomorrow, once i weighed myself properly for the first time in a long time with a scale that functioned properly.
anywho, holy shit. needless to say, i need to go back and measure things out.

because i'm weighing myself tomorrow, i don't have my BMI, but i'm guessing it's somewhere between 29.00-30.00. i'm guessing i weigh somewhere between 190-200 pounds. bleh. for the time being, i want to get down to 160 pounds, which would leave me with a BMI of 25.00. i know that's still considered overweight, but i haven't been at 160 in a longggg time and i'd like to get there first!
i don't have a set direction in my diet, but i'm planning on intaking 1,200 calories a day. i recently got a book on PCOS, so i might modify the caloric intake according to what's recommended.
one thing to know about me: i am a proud vegetarian. if you're interested as to why, please ask, but know this is not something i am willing to change. i understand meat is common in our diet as consumers and can be very beneficial to one trying to lose weight but my personal decision to be a vegetarian goes beyond lifestyle choices.
exercise is going to be a bit different. i'm working at a national park this summer and am nowhere near a gym...not complaining though, i'm going to be living smack dab in the middle of one of the most beautiful places on earth! for now my exercising future looks like a lot of hiking with running and ab workouts in between...
TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW. it's late and i need to get a good 8 hours of sleep before the weigh in...WISH ME LUCK!!! :auto:
