But I do have to stress that it is just all water weight, this same thing happened 3 years ago. After the first month it will be working hard to lose 10 lbs a month.
 
Hey i lost a lot quick and gained a few back but dont stress! Keep motivated and determined and you will do this! Stay on track we are here for you and besides your metabolism is speeding up so it isnt all water weight and you will gain some with muscle weight so you are gonna be fine!
 
Day 008

Another pound lost today, 11 total. I am feeling the push ups and crunches I am doing today. Especially in my lower abdomen. Over all I felt great the whole day, except for a slight headache, I actually could say I feel healthier.

The Good
In bed just after 11
Nothing to eat after 8
Had well over my 104 Oz of water
Ate Fruit throughout the day
Had only one helping at dinner
Did 21 pushups and 21 crunches
Ate 2 pieces of toast for breakfast and oj
No Junk, no fast food, no soda

The Bad

Days 010 & 011

Day 009
Lost 2 more pounds today. I didn't expect too, as I just felt blodded this morning.

The Good
No Junk, Fast Food, soda
Ate a bagle and OJ for Breakfast
Had a 6" Low fat Sub from Subway for lunch
Didn't eat past 8
Only one helping for dinner.


The Bad
Didn't do my push ups or crunches, but I was a little sore. will continue today
Didn't drink enough water, and I can tell the difference
Stayed up later than 11, but did not eat anything else

Day 010 & 011


Well, I have not had the best weekend in terms of dieting. I didn't lose any weight either day, but I did at least make decent choices in my food as I went.

Saturday

Drank close to the amout of water I should, (didn't keep close track)
I ate breakfast but it was Sonic.....
I had only a single pulled pork sandwich for lunch
I had 4 slices of pizza for dinner.
I ate a little after 8, but not much
I was in bed after around 12:30
No soda at least
No exercise again

Sunday
Ate 3 pieces of toast for breakfast
Movie popcorn for lunch, cause we really didn't eat anything else (no added butter)
Went to Applebees for dinner, has smotherd chicked (lots of cheese) and mashed potatos
Ate low fat popcorn just after 8
No fast food, no soda (movie popcorn was really junk)
Drank my 104 oz of water for the day
No exercise
was in bed at 11Pm

Now it is time to get back on track. I was away from home a lot, which contributed to my rule breakage.

Day 012

Well thank goodness my weekend craziness didn't hamper my weight loss, I dropped another pound today.

The Good
ate 2 pieces of cinnamon toast
Ate fruit throughout the day
drank close to the amount of water that I should be, probably 90 oz or so
no junk no fast food, no soda
nothing to eat after 8 pm
was in bed shortly after 11pm
only one helping for dinner

The bad

no exercise for a while now This has been a real weak spot for me. Once I get home I jst don't feel like doing much.

The ugly.
Exercise is going to be here again if I can't get it together

Thanks for keeping tabs on me, I have been busy and not been on line as much. hopefully life will slow down a bit after the holidays.
 
I love the way you have set out your diary, you have been doing so well with your diet.
Bend over so I can give you a kick in the butt and get you back into that exercise lol.

Day 013

Lost another pound today. Kind of a milestone, cause when I started I thought I was around 280-285 and I was actually 295. So I am finally at that 280 weight now. I would expect about another 5-10 lbs lost in the next week and then it will probably taper off to 1-2 lbs a week.

The Good
Ate cinnamon toast for breakfast
Ate fruit throughout the day
Drank close to the amount of water I should be 80-90 oz
No junk, no fast food, no soda
I exercised today, 1 1/2 hours of racket ball
I ate a little past 8 but only because of playing racket ball
One helping during dinner

The Bad
I wasn't in bed till about 12:30 or later, I was working on someone's PC.

The Ugly
Not much here today.
 
Feeling Good

Not sure if I have talked about this or not, But for the last few days, I have been feeling really good. I contribute a lot of it, to just drinking water.

Seems like you here that over and over again, to drink your water, but we just ignore it, or say, I can't drink that much water, it has to have a taste or something. But that is what the body craves, and after getting myself into a water drinking habit, it's all I want. AMAZING! I was the biggest soda drinker just a few months ago, but after getting over the caffeine, and now this, I have no desire for soda at all. I even still have some Diet A&W's in the fridge that really don't even sound appealing.

Consider all the money you save from doing this, no soda when you go out, no cravings every time you stop to get gas, none when you go to the grocery. It's a nice savings, and I am so glad I did it. It was like some kinds of weird pride thing to never give it up, like I was proud of my soda drinking, or too proud to drink some lowly water. This may really be a key reason I even got overweight. When you consider that I use to drink Mountain Dew in the range of 1 liter a day or more. That is massive BAD calories! By not drinking soda, I have reduced my calorie intake by something like 500-1000 a day! (that is more recent, not the 1 liter a day) and yet I have no cravings for it, and have gotten over that addiction.

I hear ya. I just starting drinking 2 quarts of H2O a day, 4 days ago, and I feel amazing, plus my skin looks all soft and aglow.

I carry around a 2 quart jug to remind me how much water I have left for the day to consume. It's working so far!

Keep up the great work. Way to ditch the soda. I've been working at that too.

Days 014-018

Okay sorry I haven't been around much. Busy with work and the Christmas Party, and wrapping gifts, and the whole lot.

Rule Breakage city last few days, too. however I came out on top by losing another 2 pounds.

I havn't been drinking enough water, Saturday I didn't eat a thing all day till about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Plus I had a huge steak sunday, and a baked potato caked in butter and sour cream, but Texas Roadhouse, mmmmmm. They got the best steaks. My eyes were bigger than my stomach cause I couldn't resist getting an 11 oz steak, when the 8 oz would have sufised. Blus after all that, we stopped at starbucks, My least favorite place, cause well, I hate coffee. About as much as I hate Nepolian Dynomite. However I got a small, excuse me, a "tall" hot chocolate. That is some good stuff right there. But if I can eat that good stuff and still lose weight, i am happy.

I also havn't exercised, but I have been running around alot. I fear this weekend, cause well, it's Christmas time, and food food food. Well the good news is, I am up on the weight lose, but I do know that I will need that slack as the month come. After the first month, it will be tuff to get that 10 pounds a month.

I still only drinking water, except for that 1 hot chocolate. Also making better choices in reserants, except for that one time at Texas Roadhouse, ...mmmmmmm... I am so happy they put one in here. Also I haven't been eating past 8. I eat somethig for breakfast every morning, except on saturday, where I took off to make it to the bank on time. (I got up late)

I have been staying up too late often, but I quickly get tired the next day and get back on schedule.

Over all, for all I did, I still lost 2 pounds, and am very happy about it.
 
That's great you lost weigh even after slipping up a little! One of the good things about steak and potatoes is that they are calorie "efficient" so eating a big meal out of them probably wasn't as bad as you think. They take a long time to digest too, so you stay full longer!

Keep up the great progress Cary, and don't let the Christmas season tempt you... too much! ;)

Days 019-020

Lost 2 more pounds over these 2 days. Almost at a 20 lb loss. I will be glad when it is past triple digits of weight loss to go.

The Good
Ate Breskfast each day, thoast both times
Didn't eat my usual fruit throughout the day, but go low fat subs from Subway
worked late monday so ate just after 8, but nothing beyond that.
only 1 helping at dinner both days, although yesterday i just felt like I was starving after wards
No Junk, No Fast Food, No soda.


The Bad
Drank nothing but water, but still not enough
Didn't exercise at all either day

The Ugly
Staring to get back in the habit of staying up to late to do whatever, and I just get myself into a rut, I have to look to going to bed at around 11.
