need some help

I've 18 years old 6'3 and 174lbs I've been working out now for about a month and half. I know I am not going to see much results within this small amount of time, but I thought I would see some. I'm not looking to bulk up, but I'm enlisting in 4 months and I know its not much time, but I have to get something in. Before this I never worked out, I've looked up routines online and to me they make no sense. I've looked up online high protein diets, and all I get is eat chicken, eat greens, and lean beef. I'm literally looking for a solid routine. Also basic structure of what I should eat meal by meal so I can get a better understanding and then start planning my meals. I workout 4 to 5 times a week, I run 30 min every day I work out and switch upperbody and lower body day to day. I don't know what any of the machines are called at the gym, but I use practically all of them when I work out. I haven't started lifiting, because I'm not really sure what I should do.

You can just visit the site given below which I am using for my body building and work out Advices. They are providing very good exercise information to get Six packs and good tips..

I'm unclear about what your goals are. You posted in the bodybuilding forum but you say you don't want to bulk up. What are you trying to do?

I'm also unclear about what you're currently doing in terms of exercise. Unless I read wrong, it looks like you say you lift weights 4-5 times a week alternating upper and lower bodies but then you go onto say you haven't started lifting yet b/c you don't know what to do.

I think what your looking for is more of a lean mass gain, however keep in mind that with building muslce comes building a bit of body fat. HOWEVER that is natural and is needed however it can be minimized by doing a cleaner bulk. What is your body fat %? you can do a significant amount in 4 months if you stick to a good diet with balanced macro nutrients and sticking to your workouts!

For example trying to keep your protein % higher than your carbs could help you gain very well while minimizing body fat gains. There are many % ratios you could try, throw some more info!
