Well, there is a lot of information to cover. I would recommend one of two books:
"New Rules of Lifting"
"Scrawny to Brawny"
You don't sound scrawny and I've never read the book S2B, but it's highly recommended.
I'm doing NROL and a lot of people on jpfitness.com are doing it also. We have a forum set up to support both books.
As for NROL, it'll explain certain principles behind overtraining, hypertrophy, strength gains, fat loss and the last chapter is devoted to nutrition and eating for goal.
I like the book and it's an interesting read.
It's $30 and worth every dime.
