Ok i everything look good but this

could u explain what this mean ,,skinfold calipers and cloth tape measure
?

Check your progress every four weeks with skinfold calipers and a cloth tape measure. If you’re desperately thin, a ten pound increase consisting of five pounds of bodyfat and five pounds of lean bodyweight is perfectly fine. A 2:1 ratio of lean bodyweight to bodyfat would be ideal.

is that to help gain weight or what?

i'm pretty much in the same place, 6'2" 160 lbs. 8 months ago i was 140. It didn't matter what i did or what i didn't do i never seemed to gain weight. The only thing that has worked for me was lifting heavy weights consistantly over the past 8 months and eating as much as i can. Since you are on a limited budget, don't worry about those powders, i don't take any, you don't need to if you eat right. if you break it down some of them may contain more protein/carbs and calories than a full meal and cost about the same or less.

on a limited budget, eat a lot of beans, rice, potatoes and pasta. as for meats, tuna, other fish, and chicken seem to be the cheapest.

Lentels and garbonzo beans are both very high in protein and easy to cook. to gain weight, eat as much protein and carbs as you can, for health reasons don't foget to include fruits and veggies. also drink as much water as you can, try for a gallon a day. Smoking is definately not going to help your work out, if you can kick the habit all the better, but all in all it shouldn't stop you from gaining weight but might make it a lil harder.

when your working out, focus on your weight training, increase weights each set and stick to several sets at fewer reps. focus on form but you should be getting close to maxing out at the end of each exercise.

Cool Man ,Thanks For the look out,

Did it take u 8 months to gain 20 lbs tho..or did u get to your set weight? but 20 lbs is all i need ta gain ..but i tryin ta get in in like 2 months ...lol water park be openin up dont wann ahve to wear my shirt lol know what i am sayin

skinfold calipers and a cloth tape measure can be used to measure progress. calipers help you determine your bodyfat percentage. you do not have to use these items as simply checking your progress in the mirror can suffice, its just some suggestions. the idea is that if your waist is growing faster than say your arms or chest or legs, then changes should be made.

the foods in that list are what you should concentrate on all the time. dont rely on junk food to add calories. some here and there is fine but we want to maintain our health in addition to gaining size and strength
