need help 2 loose gut

hi guys,
whats goin on, im new to this so........ ya.....

heres the deal,
im a male, 21, weigh bout 175 lbs, and am bout 6''.

i have been training for about 4 years now on n off,
i have seen major results from the time i started n now.. i have gained alot of muscle weight comparing to my skinny ass b4.. anyways, i got this probelm and i cant seem to figure it out so i thought maybe id get some help up on here.

k heres whats up
i am not fat or anything, last time i checked my body fat, it was just above 9%%.
i USED 2 have a lean 6 pack, but recently my matebolism has slowed down hardcore

anyways 2 cut the story short.... i got this gut thing going on all of a sudden....... i have cut down on cardio n stuff, so half of it is m fault but like my gut seems to keep getting bigger... now its not flabby or nothing, i have never been fat. its like im fit all round, but my gut looks like a beer gut (n i dont even drink)

i tried doing abs at a regular pace, n cardio, but it seems to stay big, looks like im kinda pregnant haha, n im not ready 2 have kids.....
its gotten to a point now where i cant even rock beaters (tank tops/muscle shirts) no more, cuz my gut sticks out n it looks like im fat.

i dont want 2 look like a fat guy who thinks hes big........ soooooo how do i loose this thing n like does any1 know whats causing this... like its hard if i poke at it, it just sticks out. its ok in the morning, but right after i eat. or intake alota fluids it just gets bloated n get hugggggggeee. soooo like its not jiggly or anything its hard but..... i feel fat n its really getting 2 me now, i kinda want my 6pack back...... anyways , plz shout out 2 me, i need some help....... i spoke 2 a doctor about it a while back but he told me "it will belnd in once your chest gets bigger." but man its really starting to look like i have a huge gut , n i fear that hardcore, anywaysss.... sorry for writing alot... hope i got my msg across.

oh ya i 4got 2 mention that i do train regularily n do watch my diet.....
 
define "I watch my diet"
explain your diet and exercise routine, in detail.

also, how's your posture? bad posture will accentuate problem areas.
 
ok ummmmmmm, like i think i do pretty good (hopefully) when it comes to eating, i dont eat fatty foods, no junk food, no fast food, n the food i eat at home is usually pita bread n rice, n we use virgin olive oil for cooking at home sooooo..... basically i stay away from fried stuf n all that bad stuff.......

n for my workout routine, ummmmmmm like i do a muscle a day, sometimes 2.... n do abs every other day, n i try to squeeze in cardio everyday (usually play basketball, if not i hit the treadmill, Interval running)

one thing i noticed is in the beggining i got alota definition, but when i started to put on more mass, the definition kinda went away......

n i dont really get what u mean by "posture"......

Since drinking is not your problem. Alcohol slows down the metabolism quite a bit. More than most people think. the bottom line is the older you get the slower your metabolism gets. Im 28 and my metabolism isnt what it used to be when I was 18. All you can do is cut down on crap carbs and more cardio. There is no magic pill anymore. Ephedra was a great product though.
