horay! I went off out for the day and was really worried about you wondering if you managed to hang in there.
I know it gets hard. Some days more than others. But soon enough the time flies :)
 
It will all work out. Just do the best you can while he is away. I can tell you are strong and will persevere. You are going to figure out a way to make it work. Look at what a success you have been so far! Hope you have a better day today.
 
Hi spelin, just remember this is your adjustment week since your hubby just left Wednesday. You're dealing with all kinds of emotional stuff right now, but you will get into a groove. Which is funny saying that, because you're still eating right and exercising like a manaic!!!! Me....I'd be eating chips and salsa like crazy while sitting on the couch watching Murder, She Wrote reruns!!!!

Here is my day so far......I did my Ripped video this am its about 50 minutes of weight lifting...oh it is Killer, but I really recommend it if you want to get sculpted and toned. So far cals at 430.
Oh I checked out this website that gives you your cals you should be eating to maintain and or lose fast or slow weight based on your age, height, and weight. It also had this plan where it would give you the calories for 7 days to kind of trick your body into weight loss here is what mine would be for a week
Extreme fat loss.....................................Fat loss
(dont stay on too long).......................... (1 to 2 lbs per week)
Monday 1433..............................................1911
Tues 1352...............................................1529
Wed 1720...............................................2293
Thurs 1433...............................................1911
Fri 1352.................................................1720
Sat 1576................................................2102
Sun 1433.................................................1911

Obviously you would adjust calories on this calculator each time you lost weight as your calorie needs would change. Heres the website if anyone was interested . Alot of interesting info here to. Also tells you how many cals you are burning for you weight and time you did an activity.

Well I finished today with 1348 cals and had what i feel was plenty to eat....that includes a very small piece of cocnut cream pie! I 'm a little afraid to up my cals like I listed below...some of them seem high for me. HMMMM..I still have to think about that some! Wishes I usually try to stay in the 1200 to 1400 range too....some days ...well, it's a little more.
I forgot to mention that lunch was 2 thin slices of fresh semolina bread with sliced tomatoes from my garden and a little mayo....OMG I do not like store bought tomatos but the ones from the garden...YUM!!! They were so sweet and yummy...can't wait to eat some more tomorrow!
 
Well, I gotta tell you, I think that calculator is perfect. Right now I am averaging the calories it's recommending and I've been losing an average of 2.3 lbs per week. When I hit my plateau a few weeks ago I was averaging about 13-1600 calories a day for a couple of weeks, which I later found out was way too low for me since I work out almost every day with what I weigh. Ever since I upped my calories to between 1800 and 2000, the lbs have been melting off again. LOL, I just don't know what I'm gonna do when I get skinny again. I'll have been getting used to eating so much.
 
I guess im lucky - Ive been on this for 3 months and still havnt hit a plataeu yet.
Admittedly i get bored with my workout every 4-6 weeks or so and it gets varied somewhat. Today ive started adding in skipping hehe.
 
Gotta love you guys! Thanks for your encouragement and Wishes you are doing great! Pineola....that is good to hear about the calories as I have been afraid to go much above 1400. Maybe that is what I need to really move things along and by varying high and low days my body will never think I'm starving it.
 
So far today....I have walked 45 minutes, about 3 miles pushing, the gals in their double jogging stroller....UGH. My oldest (Norah) says, when we finished, "Mommy your back is all wet!" I guess that means it was a good workout! So far my cals are at 625 and I still have dinner left.
 
I just scanned your diary, Spelin! You're so inspiring! Two little ones to care for and still finding time for exercise and diet! Good job!

and spelin you are very inspirational to me you are doing so great where some would just fall apart when you are feeling like i cant do this think how good you will look and feel if you keep doing this you go Girlll!!!!!!!
