Need advice!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum.

I need advice. I am now on Weight Watchers and I have been working our since January. I can see some differences in my body, but I can't seem to lose my belly fat.

Somebody please give me some suggestions.

I do Jazzercise, which is cardio and weight training, 4 times a week, and I still have belly fat.

Am I just expecting too much too soon?

Thanks

how's your diet look?

You won't lose fat in certain spots, you have to add lots of cardio and eat healthier. With time you will see major differences. I say keep up with what you are doing. If you aren't as tired from a workout as you were before then switch it up a bit. It's good to experiment with your workout program. I recommend at least thirty minutes of cardio a day. When i say cardio i mean running, swimming, biking... I don't count ab workouts as cardio.

My diet

My diet consists of Lean Cuisuine meals, Weight Watchers meals, and fruits and vegetables. I think a problem of mine is that I grab a handful of pretzels without taking into account that those count for calories.

I love Mexican food, which could also be my downfall. I eat Mexican food once a week. My family also likes to eat out a lot, and I find it difficult to watch what I eat when we go out. The portions these restaurants give you are ridiculous. I guess they have to do that because people complain if they don't.

I have decreased my caloric intake a great deal from what it used to be. I only have about 10 to 15 pounds to drop before I am at my ideal weight. I seem to have reached a plateau now.

Thanks so much!

I was on the low-carb thing for a while. Maybe I just need to combine low-carb, low portions. You know, get rid of the bad carbs.

Also, the eating out guide that is attached to the website really helps too!

there you go. ppl are stuck on low carbs but like you mentioned, you have good carbs and bad carbs.

they need to realize a diet shouldnt be a quick fix, it should be a lifestyle. ;)

Carbs are good to eat, especially if you are working out, but I agree that eating good carbs and maybe cutting down somewhat on carbs is great, just make sure you eat enough carbs otherwise you will have no energy and become grumpy :(

Shorty,

I know this is not the most fun thing to do, but if you keep a log of exactly what you eat in a day I guarantee you will see results. Just the simple act of keeping a log will force you to eat better.

Personally, I hate to have to look at the macro nutrients in a donut after I throw one down. It's depressing to see that one donut has the calories of an entire small "clean" meal.

Good luck,
DM

Hi shorty,

Let you know what I'm trying to.
This is from TV show.
It is not a ordinary fitness show but from kind of science show.

Massage well the part you want to lose fat, not only belly.
Do aerobics exercise at least 30min.
That's it!
The theory is like this:
Massage melts fat into blood.
The melted fat burns during the aerobics.
But the fat goes back to original position if you don't do aerobics.
