Nasseny's Keep-Ups

1:56PM:

^ Thank You SweatPea, you really helped me.
Well, right before I came on the computer, I took a 35 minuit walk around the forest near us, its so beautiful. I love nature, talking walks really helps clear my mind, I think I'll take more walks offen. I usualy just exercise in my room, Oh and I played on the swing, its a workout y'all. lol. I did it by myself, but thats as well great because I can be alone with my mind to sort things out. I feel 99% better, honestly I do, Thanks to all the support. I think that 1 % that Im missing will come by the end of today.

Swing workouts are definitely fun! I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.

Awesome for walking! Kudos to you! And you are going to lose this weight hun, we will all lose it together. Your walk sounded beautiful. I love the forest, isn't it so lovely... the trees ...the pine needles ... the pine cones ... the tree limbs sticking out ...just awesome ...the growth on the floor of the earth ...

have fun walking!

update.

with exercise.

and the amount it will take to lose it.

I guess I just had to know the how-long-until-I-will-lose-the-fat information, before I could proceed with my diet.

I did read your "lose the fat" thread. I think you will see it soon. And the advice you got was good - add some weight training - and it will help you tone up.

You are doing great girl!

Hi Nasseny. Just thought i would tell you that you wont build muscle unless you are in a calorie surplass. But the whey protein will definatly help you keep the muscle you have, which will keep your metabolism going!

Slow and steady is the way to keep it off! Keep going your doing great, congrats on the loss so far.

This is true for the most part but if you are fairly new to weight lifting you will be able to enjoy what they call the "newbie blessing" in the first couple months you will be able to gain muscle while on a caloric deficite the thing is you have to be ready for the scale to slow down as you will add a lb or 2 of muscle in the first 2 months. After that you will not gain muscle while in a deficit but maintain which is just as good if not better when you have weight to lose.

So WEIRD...

This morning I was 2 pounds heavier, and then later on in the day I had a chocoalte binge of 1000+ calories. Then Later tonight when I checked I am now 2 pounds lighter.

how?
not only did I max 2000+ cals for the day but the chocoalte had so much fatt.

I give props to anyone with an answer.

Its my binge in a while.

well anyway, I just came back from work, and oh my god, are my feet hurting, Ive been standing all day, working and at school learning. My feet are in pain by the time I get home, does anyone have any tips on how to lessin this. Or ways to ease the pain.

Thanks people,

Nice to see others doing what I'm doing, ( losing weight ) because I seem to be the only one around my area who is at all trying to lose weight, let alone: trying to be healthy.

See ya guys, much love! MUAH!

Well Nass, the food does not convert in like hours to fat. The process of digestion and fat storage etc is a long and complicated one and if you eat at 10 a lot of fat you will not be fatter at 12.
You may see it in a weeks time or if that was just once you may not see it at all.
The weight you have lost over the day is probably water weight (you may have sweat or have peed and pood and all that makes you be lighter, while you are not really!). It could even be that you were standing differently on the scales or that you were wearing something different.
The best way (I was told) to weigh yourself to get your absolute minimum is in the moning after your first pee but before breakfast completely stark naked (before your morning shower for example).

October 16th 2007

Alright, since the last post I've kinda gone through some overworked-problems, and it caused me to fall of my diet,
now I am back on it, nothing lost yet, I thankfully, did only gain maybe 3 pounds, and not the solid 12 pounds. The 3 pounds, however, seemed to have vanished since restarting my diet.

I feel very sluggish and tired, and my calfs are very sore.

I ran (so far 2 days) 1 hour before breakfast in the morning, but I had terrible sleep on the 2nd night, which tired me, and I wasn't able to workout, which made me feel like crap.
To not work out--feel like a failure.

Anyway, hows everyone doing?
I just came on, now to see any updates, lol.

Sorry to hear you "fell" off your eating plan, but it's good to see you back around again.

I've been on vacation and haven't had enough internet time - until this week.

oKIE PEOPLE, TAlk AbOuT a BiNgE

how can i prevent a binge, ive had two in a row!!

OCTOBER 21 2007

today I had cereal + milk, about 360 calories

then later in the day I had rice, with 1 chopped potato and onions (approx. 500 calories)

and then an apple

heres the thing

I felt soo sickk
I donno why...
and when I had steped into the washroom, and did what I had to do, then as I got up, i felt as though I would vomit, and did, but it was a bit. It looked like food from the day before.
and that day would be the first day in a long while that I ate rice, I had crossed rice off my eating food.
due to calories, and unhealthness of white rice (the only type my mom does.)

Nasseny - I think one way to prevent a binge is to eat protein w/ breakfast. That would help.

I also have had some bad days where I felt a low - and my sugar was low (I can use dh's glucose testing monitor and can check my sugar levels w/ it.) I felt so sick and shakey, then ate some food, then ate some more until I "binged". The next time it happened, I tested my level - and it was way down. I don't know if it was because I worked out so hard (or was trying to) or if it was from not getting enough protein in that morning.

So after those two episodes I decided to make sure to be getting my protein in in the morning and so far that's been doing well for me.

Brown rice is good for you - so don't cross that off - but the white rice you can w/o. :)

Its getting Worse

I can't seem to stay focused for more than a week and a half, I binge, or get so depressed that I overeat.
There are times when I thought, "I can do this, its easy."

and then they get shattered by my sister saying, "Your not losing any weight."
Someone always wreaks it for me, I am not supported by my family, or have a weight-loss budy at school or something. I was so depressed one night I cried myself asleep. And I try and imagine myself 40 lbs lighter, yet I still get the same image of myself now. I am trying to belive that I can get an image of me lighter, but its not working. I'm starting to think that my body will look the same even if I lose weight.
I went online and search a bit, and came across something called LapBand
and then I read so much stories of people who have lost weight and fast with it. One girl lost 100 lbs in 6 months. Damn. One site of it said "its for people who just want to lose 20 lbs"
I thought maybe it would work for me, I told my mom, she said, "get lost"
Well...I am fuc*ing lost damn it
I dont know what to do, and I am getting more and more depressed and lonely. (that lapband thing was expensive though.)
upuntil now my exercise has been at home.
There is a fitness club infront of my work that Ive ignored until now, and I am considering in joining.
well...
I am off to work

I don't know what lap band is, but it doesn't sound like something you need.

I know there are lots of young ladies on here that would love to buddy up with you. I know it's great to have a buddy in real life, but it's good here too.

I think it would be good to look into the fitness club.

And don't worry about what others say, it's you who have to be comfortable in your own body. I have heard that imagining yourself thin works, but I dunno.
