I have been sitting here reading journals, when I really need to just start my own. Okay, here it goes.
I am a 40's (age, not decade of birth) momma to 2 great kids! I have struggled with my weight my whole life.
I had started to lose pretty well 3 years ago, then I got pregnant. It was a very complicated pregnancy. I had lots of bedrest , so that was some pretty significant weight gain. Then recovery was hard. More weight gain. Then a bad run with PPD. More. Then just too down to do anything about it.
Now, I have been hooked on the show "House". Watching some of those episodes and repeatedly hearing cancer, diabetes, etc, has scared me into doing something about it.
At 5 foot 1, I am starting today at 231. Waaaaaay to heavy for my height. But it is where it is, so I will work from here. I have already been working out for 4 days, and I am down 3 pounds over a total of 5 days.
My goal is 125.
