Name ONE thing....

As we lose weight, there are SOOOOOOO many things that we look forward to doing again or doing for the first time. I have heard some pretty interesting things people are looking forward to...some are even kinda funny. So...I would like to hear ONE off-the-wall thing you are really looking forward to...

Here is mine:

I can't wait to be in size B panty hose again! ALL the best colors and styles are in size B!

Your turn!

Hi Bep :D OHH panythose! I don't even TRY to stuff myself into those things!!! LOL I feel like a sausage! :p:D

Okay, this is really kinda sad, but I can't wait until I dont' have to wear underwire sportsbras!!! LOL Currently, if I dont, I run the risk of giving myself black eyes unless I break out the duct tape! ;)

I'd just settle for a bra that didn't have at least 3 hooks in the back to prevent me from giving myself black eyes... Oh to be flat chested :)

LMAO!! I have forever given up on the hook thing - I just will NEVER be as flat as my mother and sisters but I would KILL to get rid of underwires!! LOL (I never knew why they'd bend a wire coathanger to shove in a bra - then I needed them!! LOL)

some that i hoope will happen when i get to my goal weight is to acheive the space between my thighs! i want to buy pants that wont break afer only a few months because they get worn down :p

OHH I forgot there was SUPPOSED to be space there!!! LOL Good one, Trattis! :D

i think my ultimate goal is to have smaller feet... Yeah I probably can't do anyting about the size 11s but maybe less wide woudlbe good? ah to be able to wear 'cute' shoes and not shoes that look like orthopedic granny shoes...

or just to be able to go into any store and buy anything- and not have to go to the one rack at the back of the store... even the plus size shops that used to carry some decent clothes now Il ike nothing in them... the fabrics are crappy, the styles just don't work for me, eh i'm bitter :)

Love this thread:)

Let me see I have so many things that I dream about as I'm huffing and puffing at the gym doing the cardio workout. In no particular order: -

  • To not be the biggest person in the room
  • to be able to go into a fashionable boutique and buy an outfit I love instead of one that happens to come in my size
  • to go on any theme park ride and not worry that the safety bar won't lock into place
  • to buy sexy lingerie (in smaller sizes)
  • to be able to see my toes while I'm standing upright!

it's not hard to find..

If you say so.

It didn't work too well at 370 so yes, it would be the ONE thing I would like to do again.

See I'm posting on other threads again. My bad. 30 days to break a habit ?? could be...

There's two reasons I want to lose weight. I want to go the beach and take off my shirt. :) What a dream. *sighs* I also want to be able to talk to people without being selfconscious of my moobs. :(

I love this thread!

1) When I go clothes shopping I would like not to have to hunt to the back of the rack to find the "larger sizes" and then when I try the stuff on, not feel like a cow when I look in the full length mirror.

2) I would love not to be judged by my family and my boyfriends family when I see them at the holidays because I am over-weight

Awe...you'll get there! Just no more backtracking! ;) If you stick by your guns, next spring you will be hitting the beach without that shirt!!!!!!

It is tough facing family whith extra weight...I know. Mine have never come out and said anything to me about it, but I could see their concern when I went from about 165 to 230 in about a year. It is amazing how quickly several changes in your life can make you gain weight!

I agree with you also! I hate having to meet new people! Especially members of my husbands family. His family is very weight conscious and here I am!! I don't really fit in physically.

I really just can't wait until I look in the mirror and like what I see.
