Went to the gym and did a 45 min cardio workout this morning. Did 15 mins Treadmill set at 4.5 then the last minute bumped that up to 6. Then did 15 mins Arc on Hill Interval. Then did 15 mins Elliptical, 7 mins 30 secs backwards, 7 mins 30 secs forwards, hard sprint in the last minute.
Ate well yesterday, though had an 80 cal applecider drink at the end of the day that I prob didn't need.
 
Went to the gym yesterday and did lower body weights and cardio.
Today was the weigh-in. I only lost 0.8lbs which was a bit dissapointing but atleast it was a loss. Though at this rate I won't make my mini goal.

My Current Weight: 153.2 lbs (down 0.8lb from last week)

My Ultimate Goal: 128 (Lose 40 Pounds then see if I need to lose more or not)

Best of luck to you! I just wanted to let you know that your goals are totally doable and sustainable. When I was 20 - 21, I went from 168 - 138, and I never really gained that weight back. Now, I'm 26 and 133 lbs -- trying to "finally" lose that last bit.

Congrats on meeting your mini-goal! I think that mini-goals are a great idea; they help keep the plan going forward (which is the hardest part for me).

So I didn't do as well as I had hoped to do over the weekend with the clinic. It's very hard. I wake up in the mornings and just can't even stand to think about eating so I don't. I also can't think about food enough to pack anything. I then get to the show and have to order from their menus which are not very healthy. Since I am there from early morning till 5 or 6 at night I also eat lunch there.
I am also so tired by the end of it that exercise is out of the question, tho you do certainly get a good work out riding for an hour or 2 (and we aren't just talking about trail riding or such like that I am talking about WORKING, walk trot canter jumping using your legs to move the horse the way you want, using your core to balance the horse, using you arms to guide the horse, lifting yourself out of the saddle ect.) plus it's very mentally straining as you have to be constantly thinking.
I also was waking up at 5 in the morning on Friday, 6 in the morning Saturday and 3:30 on Sunday (tho I was able to fall asleep after 45 mins of being awake and then slept till 6) so I was even mroe tired than normal and that led to me feeling ill and getting a fever saturday night.

But hopefully I will be able to get up tomorrow morning and head to the gym and get right back on track.
 
Got myself back to the gym today and did upper body weights and 30 mins cardio. I ate well but did have one cup of ice tea and a small chocolate.
 
So it was weigh-in day today and I was pleasantly surprised. When I first stepped on the scale I was 152 but I always step on twice to be sure. Well the second time I was 151.8, so I weighed myself 2 more times and I was 151.8 each time so I guess that is what I am going with.

Still had a hard time this weekend. It's so hard to get back on the wagon after you step off it. But Hopefully I will switch that around. I am unsure if I will make my new mini goal but even if I reach it a week late I will be happy, I just have to get back on track!
 
Starting to do better again. Working out hard at the gym.
Weigh in is tomorrow but I am not holding my breath. I also have another horse show this weekend which is tough on me to eat well and once I fall into that trap it's hard to get out, so I am just gonna try really hard to pack myself a lunch and breakfast.
I don't think I will make my mini goal in time but hopefully will atleat make it the next week.
 
So I fell a bit off track after my horse show. Those are always so hard for me to stay with it! I did gain 1.6 pounds but then lost .8 pounds so I am still a tad up but not much (we will see on thursday how I did this week.

But I did do measurements and I had a fair amount of loss from the last time

I weighed in today and was happy with the results.
Last week I weighed 152.6.

I decided to calculate my rough BMI to see how it has changed since I started losing weight.

My BMI in November 07 was
28

My BMI now is
25.7

I am just about into my 'ideal' weight range, yay!

My goal BMI (according to the weight I would like to be at when I am finished) is
22
 
This last week was really good. I worked out 5 days during the week. 3 days I did weights and cardio and 2 days I did just cardio. I pushed myself REALLY hard. I also ate pretty well too! I did have a small cheat last night where I ate the chocolate off of some chocolate almonds but I was under my calorie limit for that day so I wasn't too bad. Can't wait for next weigh-in cause I only have 2.2 pounds to go till I hit the halfway mark! I will get some new pics up soon too!
 
:hurray: Congrats on your loss so far! Wow!! You started where I am at now. I'll be taking some notes form your diary! LOL! You are doing good. Keep up the motivation. Have a good wekkend and dont forget to drink your WATER!!!

Here are some new before and in-between pics.
The Befores are from about 3 weeks into my weightloss (I lost 10 pounds in the first month), that was back in Dec 07. I then fell off the wagon and gained back a bit and now have lost a total of 17.8 pounds.

Here are the pics, I still don't see a whole lot of difference but hopefully others will.

Yay, I am so happy to be at the half way mark!!! It's awesome. THough not a single person outside my family has commented on it at all (I did just lose all of my friends recently so now don't have too many people to share it with). I also don't really see or feel a difference. I hardly even feel a difference in most of my clothing but the stuff I am wearing now I got when I had lost 10 pounds and it was a touch tight so now for it to still not feel loose is a little disheartening but I know it will get there.
I also had a horse show today and I did really good with my eating. I made a smoothie for breakfast, had some ham and cheese muffins (homemade) for lunch, a granola bar for snack then a 'regular' supper.
 
I did SO good at my horse show till today.
I hadn't bought anything at the food strand. I ate breakfast that I made myself at home (I usually can't eat before shows) and packed my own lunch then went home for supper.
Today my horse unfortunately was injured which is a HUGE bummer so I did turn to food for comfort. I still believe I was under my calories tho. In fact I think I was probably under by a couple hundred, but it was all bad food.
 
Still doing great. I have one not so good day at the horse show, probably b/c I ate below my cal limit the day before. But after the show I was right back at the gym Monday morning working out, and again today. Today was cardio day. For whatever reason I deffinately enjoy pushing myself hard on the cardio (enjoy might be the wrong word ;) ) rather than weights. Weights I find it much more tempting to slack off. hmm.
I pushed myself HARD today!

I am so proud of myself. Today I was looking through my closet and decided to try on a skirt that I wore back in high school, a size 7. I thought no way would this fit and IF I could get it on it's gonna be SO tight. Well it slips right on and is loose!! I was so happy and proud. I took the day off work today and decided to do some shopping. The first store I went to I decided to try on some size 7 pants. Unhappily I found out that 2 of the 3 pairs did not fit but one pair did. I didn't have much luck at that store so I moved on.
The next store did not have size 7 instead they had size 8. I grabbed a pair of shorts and a few medium shirts. The shorts fit very nicely and I found a shirt combo I liked.
I then tried another store they to did not have size 7 only sizes 6 and 8 so I took some 8s back to the change room. Well the eights were too big! So I ended up getting 6s in both pairs. I then tried on a shirt and a vest. Well I kept having to go for smaller and smaller vests b/c they were too big. First I tried a medium and it was huge, then I tried a small, still too big! Finally they brought me a X-Small and it fit!! I also picked up a medium shirt but after I got home and tried it on again I realized that I needed to get a small! So I am going to exchange it!!
I was sooo happy. I mean I went from a good size 12ish to being a size 6-8! How awesome is that. It also helps to make me realize that I do actually look different. My parents think I am crazy not to notice but honestly I had a hard time seeing any change, now I gotta believe it! Still have a bit to go but I did an amazing thing!
