My weight story...life change....

Why are you overweight?
Almost all my life I have been overweight!
At 11 years old I weight 187 lbs (that's a lot for a 11 year old even though I was 5'6")
After this time I just kept on gaining weight... adding more and more pounds every year.
Loosing weight seemed impossible because every day I would have a friend or family member around me that wanted to go to the pizzeria or the movies or go out to drink or just buy some candy and watch a movie and so on and so on....!

Past eating habbits?
It's crazy looking back of what I use to eat... almost every day I went to the store and bought candy, cookies, chips, icecream and coke worth about $20.00!!! Some days I even forgot to eat a regular meal cause I stuffed myself with sweet things. There was no question about why I weight 278lbs!
My energy level was very low, the days I didn't even have enough energy to go to the store I just called pizza delivery and I ate almost a half large stuffed crust pepparoni pizza and cinnamon sticks and mozarella sticks and a 2 liter of coke by myself!

This was the time I just moved to my fiance in Florida (from Sweden) and I had noone I knew around me so I didn't really care about how I looked! Missing my family and friends from home was terrible and I comforted myself with food...and a lot of it!

When did you decide to change?

After moving to Florida I got a job as a project and office manager for a webdevelopment company and I was getting more and more responsibility... I really loved my job and I felt that I had to be presentable and professional in every way. Weighing 278 lbs there is not a lot of clothes that will fit you that will make you look professional... it's not like I can ware a t-shirt to a client meeting!
I started doubting everything I did and every way everyone around me was thinking when they looked at me. This is when it hit me, I have a great oppertunity in front of me..... knowing noone around where we live I would not have any distructions or anything to keep me from loosing weight, I could concentrate 100% on my self to go in the right direction.... which of course was down:)


How are you loosing weight now?
Well... At first I started excersing about 3 days a week (3 miles a day) and ate about 1600 calories.
After more than 50 lbs weight lost I excerise about 5-6 days a week (4 miles a day) and eat 1200 calories.

At this moment I lost almost 75 lbs and now weight 203.6 lbs, haven't weight this "little" since I was 13 years old!
My goal weight is 160 lbs and can't wait to get there!

Sized dropped:
pants: size 22 in to a size 14/15.
shirt: XXL to a size L
Even rings on my fingers: from size 12 to a size 9
