My weight loss transformation (A work in progress)

I am very sorry to hear about Kevin / SparkErosion.

I have chatted to him both here and on other diet forums.

Everyone who knew him - knew that he was fighting a much bigger battle than the weight battle (where he did so well). I am sorry that he fell. Many people encouraged him to seek help - but at the end of the day we are our own masters and there was nothing that anyone on a computer forum could do to help him.

So sad. My father committed suicide in 1996.

If only people could realise that their actions sadden their family and friends so... I am sorry this happened to you too.

I have thought a lot about Kevin this week. His earlier attempts and his regular sadness. Many people encouraged him to seek help and value his life. I spoke to him mainly on another diet forum.

My heart really does go out to his parents and friends.

Kevin has been on my mind heavily since I found out what happened.

I've been looking back on messages we exchanged via the forums and facebook in the past, and it leaves me with such sadness. I really don't know what to think at times.

I just truly hope he's found the peace he deserves.

Very, very sorry to read this news. It's heartbreaking. I have followed this thread since I joined the forum over two years ago. Frogged I hope you are not blaming yourself.

I guess it takes a tragedy like this to make you realise what an impact someone can really have on you.

Kevin inspired so many of us on here with his updates and also supported many of us that were on our own weight loss journeys.
He was also active on YouTube and other forums, he was not only a success in his weight loss but he was also an aspiring magician, just one of his talents he shared with us.
I had conversed with Kevin aka Sparkerosion/fishsticks on here and other forums and he would always put his time and effort into his responses.
He wore his heart on his sleeve and I myself will remember him for being open and honest, not only about his achievements but also his struggles.

I know he will not be forgotten and I WILL along with many of you keep his page alive, he had a very active role on the forums and should be remembered.

My condolences to Paul, Joyce and to Kevin's Friends & Family.

Rest in Piece

So sad to hear about Kevin. I am not on this forum that much anymore but I too conversed with Kevin back when I was a regular contributor. He was a nice guy that was very supportive to a lot of us. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. RIP Kevin!!

Absolute shock. I remember when I first joined 6years ago he was a massive inspiration to me. Such a shame he was a lovely guy I remember him showing me some of his magic videos on youtube. =(
