Hi all. I've been putting off stepping on the scale, knowing that I wouldn't be happy with the number. After a huge out of control binge last night, and waking up this morning and thinking: today is the day, I finally weighed myself. I was 147.5!!! That is the most I have EVER weighed, I am starting my weight loss diary today. My goad is 119-125 pounds. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but that is a "happy" weight for me.
I am a personal trainer, so I know all about how to work out and what to do, but my problem is with out of control eating. Just like with the exercise, I know what I should be eating, but I frequently make poor food choices. I spend on average 2 hours in the gym every day--ON AVERAGE!!! If I didn't work out, I would weigh at least 200 pounds.
So, today is my beginning. I want to control my eating. I am a firm believer in all food can fit into a weight loss plan--just in moderation. Each day is a struggle for me to eat the right combination of healthy foods and junk.
I track my food and calories at myfooddiary.com, so I am keeping track of my calories, fat, protein, etc. I need about 1800-2000 calories a day to lose 1.5-2 pounds per week.
I had a good breakfast this morning, and I taught a step class, so I'm starting off on the right foot. My friend is picking me up, and we are going to lunch at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I will post after lunch, so wish me luck and good food choices.
